Gwen constantly working would probably already be putting tension on their relationship. Yet, her spending night and day away from him, seemingly without away sort contact. I won't be surprised if Rhys was starting to become suspicious that Gwen is actually “working”.

Fun fact this was the first-ever episode of Doctor Who that I watched. Well, just the scene where Rose is taken by a barrage balloon, which is pretty good given I was only 4 and have shit memory.

Whenever I watch the scene, where Jack and Rose first meet, there’s one little thing I notice; Jack has a scar through his left eyebrow. I like to believe it was caused by a recent run-in with the ex.

[Headcanon] Before The Doctor met Rose, he spent his time helping people, but not the normal way. Instead, he would live in different places in time, looking for his “Bad Wolf”, during this he would help the people he befriends. For example, talking his friends out of going on the Titanic (Rose S1X01). This episode really supports this idea.

It’s so interesting seeing Jack using the same tech (or similar) to the Doctor. I mean just look at their binoculars.

It’s interesting the effects the nanogenes have on beings that they don’t recognise. Shame series 12 didn’t know this (well, as far as we can tell)

It bugs me, that during series 1, and only in series 1, Jack wears his vortex manipulator on his left wrist
