Chekhov's precognition?
Charlie Cornwall is a lying liar who lies. She saw the future and she remembers what she saw in the future. Vikram knows she’s lying and she knows he knows she’s lying. (Good facial acting there on CM and JG’s part. )
The obvious question is, what did Charlie see? If she feels the need to lie about it, then it must have been something not of the good. My guess is Vikram doing something extreme to get back to Anya, something outside the bounds of acceptable behavior.
If she did see Vikram Behaving Badly, then what does she do with that information? Move to try to prevent that moment and hope he doesn’t notice she’s doing it? Sleep on it? Swallow her pride and call in the calvary?
No clue. What I do know is it’s (probably) going to be good, angsty fun. Here’s hoping, fingers crossed.
