Around the third time Dean trips over his own feet, he figures that something must be going on.

He’s been bumping into shit and tripping on every crack in the pavement all day. Through some small mercy, his gun still hasn’t gone off on its own but at this point it’s just a matter of time.

This is why Dean hates witches. It’s never just a straightforward attack, there’s always gotta be some sneaky curse fucking him up. At least they didn’t give him menstrual cramps this time around, just the coordination of the average Meg Ryan character.

He heads back to the motel, where Cas has been hunkered down doing research. This is only his third case since becoming human, and Dean wants to ease him into things, but he’s a walking liability and needs some help.

He gets two steps and half a greeting into the motel room before his toes snag on the carpet and down he goes. Dean braces for impact, but instead of the hard floor he hits something soft and firm.

Dean looks up, still half-way horizontal, flushing when he realized what happened. Cas stares back at him, arms still wrapped around Dean’s after catching him, hands clutching at his elbows.

“Are you alright?” he asks.

Dean swallows. He’s pretty sure that by this point he is Meg Ryan, although Cas is a lot better looking than Billy Crystal. Or Tom Hanks, for that matter.

“Yeah,” he finally croaks out.

He straightens, only for his foot to somehow get entangled with Cas’, causing him to loose his balance again and this time dragging Cas down with him.

They hit the bed behind them, and Dean feels grateful for all of two seconds before he realizes that he’s now effectively straddling Cas.

He stares down at Cas, whose eyes have gone wide. There’s a slight flush high on his cheeks, too, and Dean really wants to do something stupid right now. The only thing stopping him, really, is the feeling that if he were to try something he’d probably end up kneeing Cas in the crotch or something equally unromantic.

“I think I’ve been cursed,” he admits.

Cas hums, looking distracted. His eyes keep darting down at Dean’s lips, which is really not helping.

“By the witch we’re hunting,” Dean adds.

Nooo! Don't leave! Why would you want to stop!?! Thank fuck for evening ... sanity?

love the “... sanity” <333 exactly >.< i don’t WANT to stop i’m just in this horrible feedback loop of being stuck in the middle of a WIP and not wanting to start anything else until i finish it but i’m stuck on it ahhhhhhhhhh but last night i had a moment of clarity which was just...fudge it. skip some details, gloss over things, who cares the readers won’t they won’t know what i didn’t do, and every time i read it i’m like, oh this is actually good, i can’t just throw it away BUT I’M STUCK  seriously considered taking the WIP down just so it’s not dirtying up my archive...just sitting there, mocking me after two years >.> but ppl leave such awesome comments i don’t want to lose them but i feel like i’m the love child of grr martin and leonidaslion, and the tumblr purge did absolutely NOT help with my inspiration and general depression around the fandom rn bleh boo hoo right? and my mom’s got cancer and doing chemo at 75 with 30 years of MS under her belt already, it’s exhausting and idk when i’ll have a day to write i won’t feel guilty for not going out and doing more for the family and

Absolutely, babe! Ah, now this is a trope I have seen plenty of times before but never came around to write my take on it. I’ll gladly accept this opportunity (:

I get really bad tension headaches, but my pain threshold is so high I don't feel em till they get to an insane phase. My first clue is my vision going... Off. There's bits that are fine and bits that are... Hazy and out of focus. Even when I close my eyes, those spots are weird. The pain in my head starts as a pressure towards one side and swells like a balloon that fills my head and suddenly starts to intensely hurt. If I let it go long enough I feel dizzy and nausea. I'll feel floaty yet in pain, certain lights hurt but not all. Certain sounds help and others feel like fire. Pretty much, my neck and shoulders are squeezing so tight that they're mangling the nerves up at the base of my skull and sending wrong info about the state of my body to the brainbox. I feel sick when I'm not, unsteady when I'm sitting down,... And since I ignore/can't feel the lighter headaches and tension (my loose is another person's stiff neck from hell)                                                    My brain starts firing out new and exciting warning signals. Usually my vision going off (one time I went almost completely blind until I took my prescription painkillers), but it's not just that. I've been partially paralysed, forgotten which way is up so I had to hold on to a table leg to make sure I wasn't upside-down... Fun times all around!!

Have you ever had a bad sinus headache or sinus infection? How does the pain of your headaches compare to that? Have you been diagnosed as having migraines or have they said tension headaches?

After watching people suffer migraines, I thought they were like SUPER painful, so I figured the headaches I get aren’t migraines. But I have a high pain tolerance, so I dunno.

I don’t get nausea (which I would think I’d get because I don’t have a strong stomach) and there are other migraine symptoms that I just don’t get. But everybody is different so ya never know.

I never get a pressure unless it’s a sinus headache. I don’t feel more unsteady than usual. Lights and sound will bother me when the headache hits, but not before and after. I’ve NEVER lost my vision completely, NEVER had issues with paralyzed body. Ugh that sounds terrible!

My dad gets ocular migraines without pain. He gets the aura and spots and weird blurring that starts small and overtakes his vision. So who knows, maybe I’m getting a combo of things or maybe it’s all hallucinations with the schiz.

I’m pretty sure migraine is out though because the CBD oil helped and stopped the whole thing.
