And we get completely cockblocked on Caboose’s Labyrinth. Not gonna lie, I’m little disappointed on how this seasons has glossed over Cabooses character during certain scenes. But, I also understand that they’re taking the time to focus on characters that haven’t had a chance to shine in the spotlight, so I can’t be too upset. I still feel like they could have had something more than “I was hungry”, as a labyrinth for him.

Not gonna lie, I almost expected past Carolina to pull Epsilon out at the last second and throw our Carolina completely off guard.

A bit lackluster for a Season finale, the most exciting moment being Carolina vs Carolina but as far as wrapping up stories go, I think Jason and Miles did a fantastic job concluding Joe’s. This season finally got Donut the recognition he deserved and also fillled in a few of the series plot holes.

“YEET!”

Okay I have to say this is one of the more lacklustre endings to a season we’ve had? But... honestly I don’t know if there could have been a dramatic ending like other seasons? I honestly don’t know.

But man. Some of this ep was actually very good. Carolina’s bit feels like maybe they’ve finally wrapped up the whole grief plotline and solidified her as part of the team! Hopefully! ‘Two-dimensional. Backwards.’ that at least seems to mean that Carolina knows that this version of her she’s seeing is spitting absolute bullshit. I just hope that whatever writer comes next doesn’t rehash shit again. 

I don’t think I’ll ever recover from that shot of her being held up by Wash whilst Tucker’s sword lights up the background, honestly.

Doc and O’Malley also sets up an interesting angle people have to acknowledge and continue from. Doc is now... willing to kill. That’s something.

Kai and Grif, oh Kai and Grif! They finally dealt with the drafting dilemma and so on. And that was actually decent Kai and Grif development and bonding! Woo!

Tucker’s scene and fear also continues to be good. 

Wash, oh Wash. Everyone gathering around and agreeing to be there for him was nice. The next writer also has to deal with that, but like I’ve said before and like Caboose said himself: Caboose has brain damage and he’s still part of the team. Wash can be too.

Donut having some time to himself seems in-check, but I doubt Donut’s actually leaving. I imagine whatever the next season will be will pick up after Wash’s recovery period is over and after Donut’s had time to gather himself.

I wonder if Wash’s recovery means they’ll actually stay on Chorus for a while.

That’d be nice.
