iโve always been confused with how chill alpha and the director are with each other when we first meet alpha โ rn iโm reading the tucker time travels fic and i just realized that they probably were chill at that point. the best way for them to get into his head (figuratively) would be to gain his trust first. considering how the director is, an ai replica of his mind probably would have taken some time to warm up to the situation. get his trust, and then break him. that was the plan. ough.

Rewatching the trailer for season 7, where we can see alpha Church as a ghost, and wanting to draw something kinda spooky, got me thinking about an au where he sticks around as a ghost for the rest of the series.
Unable to interact with the living, unable to help, only able to watch. Watch as they live their lives and as he is replaced with his own fragment. But still clinging to those people because for some reason he cant not to
He is still always there, even when Epsilon isnt (like here). Able to understand the hurt him leaving without a word brings to the others, able to understand why he leaves, but unable to comfort them in that moment.
Maybe with time he is able to reflect on the past and his actions and feelings, but he is still unable to do anything about it. Tex in this au isnt there (because she deserves some peace), so he is completly alone, isolated
And in the worst case scenario it all culminates in Restoration with Tucker becoming The Meta. His sacrifice was pointless and his death meant nothing.

When i watched season 9 for the first time, i thought that Epsilon had a human body, because Alpha back in Blood Gulch thought of himself as a human
And this image of himself was so intertwined with his memories, that Epsilon got to experience that too
Knowing what happend to private Jimmy obviosly disprooves this theory, but i still like the idea that the way Alpha saw the world and how he felt about it, in some ways influenced Epsilons time in the Memory Unit
For example, yes, the reason why Caboose is already in Blood Gulch when the reds get their Warthog could be because Epsilon personaly wanted him there
But i really like the idea that its because Alpha simply couldn't imagine Blue team without both Tucker and Caboose by his side
y'all think that in the early days of pfl, alpha and filss would talk about the freelancers and the progress they're making and who they're rooting for
