i never thought about juliette's narration that way but damn. it's mindsets like that that are keeping solitary confinement alive in places like north america. isolation can be so harmful, right down to the actual physiology of your brain and seeing the narration trivialize that is just,,, yikes
Yeah dude. It’s really fucked up. Solitary is literally torture, but Juliette seems to be doing fine, aside from the weirdass metaphors that we’re not even sure she believes.Â
