A little duck puzzle
Mallards are omnipresent in our parks …
… sometimes there are exotic species among them that are difficult to identify at first glance …
… and then turn out to be runner ducks – a domestic duck.
Warty ducks (or Muscovy ducks) are easier to identify – also a domestic duck.
But what about this beautiful duck? Perhaps a hybrid of mallard and muscovy duck? Maybe.
And all on the same pond!

It’s day 79-88 of ducks!!
SO sorry I haven’t been posting lately, I’ve been eternally stuck with doing other stuff 😭😭😭
But the ducks are almost three months old!
Pippin is doing SO much better, and can eat, drink, and even swim on her own!
We’re not sure if her other eye will be functional but at least she can live a mostly normal little duckie life!
This is all of our ducks together!
They’re all drinking the mud. Never mind the cool, fresh, clear water RIGHT NEXT TO THEM.
They desire M U D

Because why drink water when you can have mud.
(Go drink water, you aren’t a duck)
And-Here’s the tiny addition that I found in the chicken coop!
Buried in my elbow for no reason.
His beak is deformed as he has Crooked Beak, but the cast for his leg I gave him has worked, and he can walk normally now! (Mostly)
Hopefully I’ll be able to post more often, but if I stopped posting it’s not because the ducks don’t exist anymore.
