The drug Miyagi gives Zoro in Onigashima...
... seems very similar to Alabasta's Fatal Fuel and Fishman Island's Energy Steroids.
Fatal Fuel gives the user five minutes of super strenght before claiming their life.
Energy Steroids have the same effect, but taken to extreme, ages the user irreversibly.
Weird thing is Energy Steroids are considered to be a legendary national treasure of Fishman Island. And these three countries - Zou, Alabasta and Fishman Island - seem to have been connected to the Clan of D.
So, were these drugs a gift from the Clan of D? Were these countries trying to replicate some drug used during the void century and ended up doing these sort of botched versions of the original?
Funnily enough, Chopper's Rumble Ball also acts a bit like these drugs.

Nami got angry and Chopper got scared of her so he turned to jumping point and jumped off the boat INTO the ocean. At first this is already a haha Namis so scary a devil fruit user forgot the dangers of the sea, but I find it extra amusing because Chopper using jumping point meant that in the span of about five seconds he determined Namis rage, that wasnt even directed at him, to be a threat enough to immediately use rumble ball.
