LAST & POV for the ask game! Hi!
@dragon-swords-prophecies
Hi :D
Answering with bits and improv from We Shall Be Fools:
LAST: Rukard never considered it before, but why couldn’t necromancers and witches and other godless creatures form families? They were human, after all.
POV: The human was truly fascinating. I mean, I've read about them a lot, so I knew how they were supposed to look, but studying one of them up close was a completely different matter. I treated their injuries and made sure to get the poison out of their system, but they still remained unconscious for quite a while. I had things to do - I really did, there was the garden to tend to, and Uncle God will be grumpy if I don't bring him his food, but I couldn't get myself to leave the human's side. Are they all this mesmerizing?
A typical morning in the JYTFS world
I didn’t know how to sort them, so they’re in alphabetical order.
Ena - wakes up whenever the first-morning prayer reaches her, answers it, normally ignores whatever was asked of her, and tries to go back to sleep. She doesn’t really need food or sleep, but that doesn’t stop her from remaining in something of a coma most of the time unless someone or something really annoys her. Then it’s lightning-striking time.
Heshiktow - wakes up early, feeds the snake-lions and whatever injured creatures he’s taking care of at the time. Cooks breakfast for himself and Rukard - Rukard isn’t used to cooking for himself due to growing up in an environment where everything was done for him.
Mary - wakes up whenever Yahgur wakes her up, normally way too early in her own opinion. Eats whatever Yahgur cooked or ordered for breakfast - he’s the only one who knows how to cook in the whole Chosen One team, so he cooks for himself and Mary, and sometimes Shimmi, but Shimmi doesn’t always need human food.
Mourisha - wakes up whenever, but likes to wake up early and watch the sunrise, and sometimes draw it. Normally forgets to cook for himself and just heads out to continue with his journey, but after meeting Rukard he started to cook breakfasts for the two of them, naturally slipping into Heshiktow’s vacant place as Rukard’s caretaker.
Rukard - wakes up whenever and eats what Heshi (or later Mourisha) cooked for him. When Heshi is around, he likes to take showers in the morning, but when Heshi’s away he wouldn’t come in contact with big amounts of water even if his life depended on it.
Shimmi - he doesn’t really sleep. In the night, he exits his human body and wanders around as a spirit, chatting with other local spirits and finding himself some energy that he uses instead of food. He returns by sunrise and tells Mary and Yahgur all the spirit news of the region, which hardly makes any sense for humans. Puts on his make-up. Yes, he always wears bright-golden make-up, no matter the occasion. Sometimes sings in an extremely Disney-princessy way, with birds landing on his hands and everything.
Yahgur - wakes up first, cleans their camping spot if they were sleeping outside, alternatively room if they managed to find an inn. First takes care of himself, then of the bear, if necessary. Cooks breakfast or orders it if possible. Plans out the team’s travel route and course of action. Makes sure Shimmi’s body is safe and comfortable while he’s away and wakes up Mary.

WIP snippet
Posting a little WIP snippet nobody asked for no apparent reason (may have been inspired by @chazzawrites ) Enjoy!
For context: mourisha’s intro
rukard’s intro
Idiot trio number two is now all set!
Brief description: a Dark Lord, his right-hand man, and a friendly eldrich abomination
Heshiktow: good at illusions, shy, likes dogs, cats, and all sorts of monstrous creatures. Has a "for the greater good" motif for taking over the world
Rukard: a bit of a drama king, strategist and organizer, cares about Heshi a lot. He's sane at times, but if any of the three would laugh dramatically on a balcony of a gothic castle during a storm, that would be him
Mourisha: kind, friendly, cares for others, not the type to get into any conflict. Apologizes to trees if steps on a root or accidentally brakes a branch. The only reason he's in this group is because he thought Rukard was lonely and needed company.
This concludes my two main trios. I'll drop some random facts about the two groups, as well as some side characters and world building stuff later

Practically rukard's theme song
https://youtu.be/0RVeo79yfw0
Stumbled upon this song a few days ago and it's been stuck in my head ever since. It's not in my usual taste, but it's absolutely something Rukard would sing in the most dramatic way possible. Also his necromancy skills are nonexistent, so just imagine Heshi quietly raising the dead in the background to help his theater-kid friend with his act. And Mourisha is just cheering on them both and probably trying to make friends with the skeletons.
Hiya! @lunewell here (:. Rukard from JYTFS - 💬
Ohhh that's a fun guy! My drama queen boi :-)
I couldn't help myself so here's a whole snippet with some dialogue in it:
Rukard stared at the stranger blankly. For a second, he considered that something terrible happened to Heshi, that made him change his height, shape and voice. The image seemed too familiar. It could almost fit. What if…
"Heshiktow?" he asked quietly
"Probably not" the cloth on the figure's face moved, and their eyes squinted in a smiling expression, "but you can call me that, if you want."
He had to make sure before doing what he was about to do. Heshi left him only so much magic, and he didn't want to waste it on the idiot himself.
Just a little illusion should be enough to scare a local madman away. Long, crawling shadows. Blue flames. Red eyes, hissing, living hair, maybe horns. Horns always worked for Heshi.
"Get out" Rukard roared. A little twitching, and his voice sounded like something you hear right before certain death, with a nice, infernal undertone
"But I made breakfast. Aren't you hungry?" the stranger seemed unphased by the sudden change in his surroundings.
