Every bit as good and interesting as more recent work, though less polished. There's more musical variety here, but that's not a problem I had with Jiminy. In fact, I find the greater exploration on this album compromises its sequencing; it feels more like a collection of loosely connected tracks rather than a complete work. I also notice that there's a greater focus on "spooky" subject matter here, I think after this point they realized they could satisfy the theme by just making Scooby-Doo metal (affectionate) and branched out more thematically.

Standout tracks

It would be more efficient to call out what I didn't love, Necromancin Dancin is not bad by any means but I place it a rung below the rest. I do not care for Sickness for Nothing but I do like how it transitions into She-Wrecks.

But now, he's trying to detangle his own identity and figure why his rivalry with Shadow won't leave his mind and why he's never into romance like a normal person but Shadow is different in a non-romantic way. Mamma mia, I need shrink.
