Linhardt had given Sylvain a bit of time to tell all his friends about their relationship. He knew it was difficult for him so he didn’t rush him at all and they still saw each other from time to time and became closer. But now he figured it was time for something more, something that proved to the both of them that they really wanted this relationship to work, going out together in public. So Linhardt gathered up some money and bought tickets to a play that had come into town a few days ago and was attracting some buzz about it. And when he found the right time he caught up with Sylvain and decided to pose the offer to him.

Your muse wakes mine from a nightmare. 

  He wakes with a start. Breathing comes out in gasps, hitched breaths, and for a second he struggle against the strong grip that’s wrapped around his shoulders. That is, until he remembers where exactly he is, that he’s safe and sound, in the soft bed of his beloved. 

A shivering sigh escapes him, and slowly he begins to relax in the other’s grip. 

“No it’s fine, I understand.” Ashe murmurs softly, keeping his voice low out of habit whenever night fell. He could understand Sylvain, if only a little bit about the nightmares. After all, he still suffered his own after Lonato’s death.

Although once Sylvain comments on sleeping on the floor Ashe tilts his head back, grimacing at the mess his room was at the moment. It would be rather cramped if he forced Sylvain to sleep on the floor, especially with a few books strewn about as well as his bows.

“I haven’t been doing this for long, but from what I’ve been told, it’s a violation to have anyone in your room after lights out.”

No one had snitched on the noble. Nor had Byleth caught the other in the act. He’d simply HEARD it. After all, the other’s room was right above his own. And it wasn’t as if Sylvain was the quietest of fellows. Between the giggling and the bad pick up lines - Byleth had barely been able to sleep. Though he was surprised the other had managed to convince a girl to come all the way back to Garreg Mach.

In general, Hubert does what he can to keep his distance from members of the other houses. Best to observe from afar, properly document their weaknesses, determine who could be a potential ally or a potential threat. At the moment, he has yet to determine whether Sylvain is either... or just another annoyance. Which seems the strongest possibility, all things considered. 

As Sylvain rounds on him, Hubert allows a slight smirk to cross his features before stepping fully out of the shadowed corner. “Apologies, I don’t mean to disturb your training,” he says, voice lacking any trace of real remorse. “So diligent, I wouldn’t expect such things from you. The way I’ve heard it, you seem to have little interest in training, but perhaps the rumors don’t do you justice.”
