Im still kinda nervous because like. It is actual self-indulgent, self-projecting SLOP and i don't like being perceived /silly 💔

It's from MONTHS ago now, when i was yapping about tsams and Eclipse's "retirement" to my friends and somehow came upon the idea of "hey you should draw him with a dad bod and in classic dad attire for shits and gigs because he's a retired father of 4" and it spiralled into "Imagine a stupid oneshot where noone in the cast has seen him for years post-retirement and he gets invited back for a little reunion and rocks up looking like that and everyone is GAGGED"

So then i scribbled out a stupid comic about it in a couple hours, with my multishipping bullshit and some projected simping sprinkled on top.

But yeah

Interracting w this fandom still scares me a little because im a relatively new-ish tsams fan (around 2.5 years now i think??) and also am not an avid watcher of the actual show, i just read ABSURD amounts of fanfic (500+ bookmarks now 🥀) and stalk the tumblr tag lmao

Im in a weird place where im OBSESSED with tsams (i made a 200+ slide unfinished powerpoint about it to present to my friends, and never shut up about or stop drawing these damn characters) but like, i constantly worry that i still dont know enough about it, and tsams lore is SO difficult to learn and keep on top of without watching a LOT of hours of content 💔

So as I mentioned this is also a self indulgent Eclipse/Ruin AU, and they have kids in some lifetimes. Ruin will also slip into his Jigsaw act for one reason or another (boredom more often than not, nowadays). Eclipse does not like these things happening at the same time. Now Eclipse understands that Jigsaw is still just, Ruin. It is not a virus it is an act. However,,, he is linked to Ruin's trauma, and has been known to be aggressive with other adults that are not Eclipse, so he thinks he's pretty unstable in this act even if he's fine with Eclipse. So when it's Jigsaw who comes to him asking if they can build kids he says they should wait, if Jigsaw comes out while they have them Eclipse tries to keep them separated. Which Jigsaw understands, to an extent, but starts getting really upset as this continues.

They're still his kids, he would never ever want to hurt them or any children! He remembers being forced to do so by his Creator and would never replicate it! Who does Eclipse think he is??? It's been How many years and how many children has he laid a claw on? None!

Jigsaw has sneaked interacting with the kids a few times, and the worst that has happened is being a little too loud and intense and spooking them. He doesn't know what to do about it and bursts into tears in return, which prompts Eclipse to come in and scoop him up. Eclipse tells the kids Papa is just being silly while he consoles Jigsaw, he knows you didn't mean it, but they still feel like shit because Eclipse is still treating him as potentially a real threat and oh this is just another reason you can't be with the kids.

This leaves Jigsaw repeatedly in a loop of "wanting to be with the kids -> being told that no he’s Unsafe -> trying to reassure himself -> remembering the kids he killed and breaking down -> repeat the last two steps" since Eclipse contributes to step 2 which means this keeps happening. And again since Jigsaw is just Ruin he feels awful that Eclipse is making out a part of him to be a threat.

Ruin: "I reeeaaaaly love you"

Eclipse: "I really, truly love you."

Ruin: "I really, truly, madly love you."

Eclipse: "I really, truly, madly, deeply love you."

Ruin: "I really, truly, madly, deeply, passionately love you."

Eclipse: "I really, truly, madly, deeply, passionately, remarkably love you."

Ruin: "I really, truly, madly, deeply, passionately, remarkably...

Ruin: "Uhmmm... umm, umumumumum... Deliciously! Love you!"

Eclipse: "I really, truly... madly?... passionately, remarkably, deliciously... juicyly love you."

Ruin: "Deeply. Deeply! You passed on 'deeply'! Which was your word! Which means you couldn't have meant it!"

Ruin: "So you're a fraud actually--"

*Eclipse pulls Ruin close to hug him, caughting them off guard*

*Ruin giggles at the action*
