How is Soggy Ruin alive if Sun decided he was going to continue killing people?
Because Noom <3 Ruin punches Noom upon entering the dimension and quickly finds out that he REALLY underestimated how willing Sun is to kill him over this (Sun is extremely paranoid about evil dcas ruining their lives). So he switches tactics and plays up the Sick part of the virus that makes you insane act, pretending to gain some semi-lucidity to bemoan his fate while not being nearly as dangerous in general in front of Noom who falls for it. So Noom looks up at Sun with big eyes Please don't kill him he's not evil just sick and not even that dangerous he's a fucked up raccoon at worst. It's the first potential major threat that isn't just random shit that appeared from the portal for 20 minutes, and it's pretty important going forward that Noom convinced Sun not to just eliminate him. Though he does treat Ruin exactly as Noom described, a fucked up raccoon, and traps him in a cage until they get a "cure" it's all very demeaning for Ruin. The comparison follows him for a long time even after he's "cured" like he's a feral pet the family adopted, and Ruin would shake Noom for this if he felt he could get away with it.
