"I will be the only one for her. I will tend to all her needs. I will be her male in all ways. She will need no other. She will look at no other. I will be hers and she will be mine, even without resonance."
- Taushen, Barbarian's Tease (IPB #15) by Ruby Dixon
Welp, I finished Ice Planet Barbarians & Ice Planet Honeymoon: Vektal & Georgie. Now onto Book 2! These are my comfort reads! Also, aren’t these covers gorgeous?! Planning to read & collect them all for my home library.
Happy 4th of July from Not-Hoth!
My first alien romance. This book is bringing me so much joy right now. These big blue aliens just want to be good lovers, Dads, & husbands. 💙🥹

My final couns for Book Battle: Lost in Space. It's not as many as I wanted, but I think it's more finishes in a month than I've done all year.
Corsairs Protection
I've been steadily chipping away at this little fic and I'm quite proud of it. We're starting to near the end, but if anyone else loves Ruby Dixon and the Ice Planet Barbarians as much as I do, this takes place in the extended universe. At the very end of the Corsair's Brothers Mathiras' book.

Going into book 13, Barbarian's Lady, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it because I expected it to be Harrec and Kate arguing all the time (because that's how the couple was portrayed in the previous book)
But it was actually really nice and cute!
They didn't even really bicker all that much, it's more Harrec's playful nature and them being competitive and spunky with each other. Harrec's flirting was fun to read. And as always love how the same khui men are consent kings.
I also probably liked it because it was not a book where big, earth-shaking events happened. I am a slice of life fan after all.
