ok, 5 things about me....

1. My favorite color changes all the time but right now is navy blue

2. I’m an enneagram 6

3. I love film and I film score/soundtracks - ask me about composers and I *will* talk for hours

4. I love dark chocolate. Like dark dark chocolate. 90+% cacao or nothing babyyyy

5. This past year, I’ve been reintroducing hobbies into my life (editing, baking, and reading books) for the first time since like pre high school, and could not be happier about that :)

39. Do you ever get rude reviews and how do you deal with them?

I know it was you, Rubi. I've actually never gotten a rude review, thankfully! There are a couple from the olden days that tended to start with those backhanded compliments (i.e. "I never read slash, but"), and there's a super passive-aggressive note on a bookmark to one of my fics that gave me pause for a bit, in a headscratchy "I think I would be insulted if I weren't relieved that this hadn't happened") sort of way, but nothing outright rude.

I have gotten a rude fic before. One year, for Yuletide — an exchange where I always write a fairly lengthy letter to my author, and always include a list of squicks and triggers that always includes infidelity — I received a giftfic that included the two main characters having a lengthy discussion about male character's wife, why he wasn't happy in his marriage, and the many ways in which his wife sucked, before said characters engaged in explicit sexual congress. It was actually tagged with "Adultery." I don't know the author, and I'm still not sure what I ever did to anger them into essentially gifting me spitefic. It's still the only gift I've ever refused.

2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

There are definitely some kinks I hope to get to, but those will most likely end up on my side account. 😉 Really, this fandom has been great in that I’ve been able to explore lots of tropes I wouldn’t have felt comfortable exploring before. Wingfic would be fun, and I’d like to try out a Regency AU someday.

9. Which fic has been the hardest to write?

My one foray into angst, know the game (gonna play it). I wanted to tackle something that involved sacrifice and teamwork and the love they all have for each other, and I’m happy with the result, but it was way out of my comfort zone for sure.

38. Talk about a review that made your day.

In a reply to a comment I left on someone else’s fic, the author came back and said that they’d had one of my fics bookmarked for a week as slight inspiration before creating their AO3 and posting fic. 😍
