The Ambassador decided that the kingdom needed a way to properly connect with those outside our city. Thus I have been put in charge of this page.

Questions posed to nobility of the city will be presented to them. Though the Red Lord and The Ambassador have their own blogs.

“Arancia, is this really necessary?” Rubedo wrings his fingers, labs always made him feel uneasy. “Yes, yes! The bond is very important! Besides! We're only transferring her to an incubator so she doesn't freeze and die!” Arancia hands over volatile, who's no bigger than a watermelon.

“I don't even know how to hold one of these things!” Rubedo holds out his hands, “well just don't drop her! Now, hold out your hands and then hold her to your chest.” Arancia holds out volatile which rubedo takes with a nervous grip, then bringing this wiggly watermelon to his chest as instructed.

Volatile just sits there, squirming around before eventually settling snugly in Rubedo's arms. “Why is she so small?” Rubedo mindlessly rubs a finger down Volatiles back. “She'll get bigger, once she reaches the ideal height you want we will bisk fire her and then you can pick out the colours and patterns from there!” Arancia says this with too much delight in his voice.

“Will she be… awake?” Rubedo holds volatile close who doesn't seem to care at all, she's just existing with everyone in the room. “Oh no, she won't be conscious until the final firing! Sure when we get her muscles to work she'll open her eyes, but they'll only open so the seal on them breaks, then they'll remain closed from the foreseeable future!” Arancia clasps his hands together, excited to finally explain his process.

“... You make it sound like she's just another thing-” Rubedonis cut off, “well, that's what her purpose is, isn't it? She's also a very expensive thing, this isn't cheap work!” Arancia seems confused. “Yeah… she is supposed to just be another thing…” Rubedo's tone saddens a touch and his grip on volatile firms up. Rubedo looks down at volatile and just stands there with her for time being.

“You ready to set her in the incubator?” Arancia leans in, snapping Rubedo out of it. “Right, right. Time for this thing to get cooking.” Rubedo slowly moves to the incubator and ever so gently sets volatile down inside, he paid way too much for her to just break.

Arancia works quickly and gets all these monitors and sensors hooked up. “There! This will keep us up to date on her condition! And will let us know if anything starts going down hill.” Rubedo stands next to the incubator and just looks down at volatile.

“You can stick your finger throttle holes in the side if you want.” Arancia snaps Rubedo out of the trance he’s in again. Rubedo looks hesitant but decides it's worth a shot and sticks his pinky inside the big holes lining the sides of the incubator.
