Citrinitas ā Telestic Ekstasis (Caligari)
Telestic EkstasisĀ is the second EP that weirdo Finnish metal outfit Citrinitas have shared with us over the past five months. Combined thatās just under 30 minutes of music, but the relatively bare amount includes more interesting and freaky experiences than a lot of bands could muster in three or four times as much. This new EP isnāt quite as infernally inbent asĀ Unending Descent, the remarkable demo of blackened doom Citrinitas sicced on our heads back in January. ButĀ Telestic EkstasisĀ is another mournful missive from damaged consciousnesses, an agonized march through the alienated hinterlands of the Scandi underground. Itās also very, very good.

I felt like I've been neglecting my boy Citri. While everyone from the crew has gotten nĀ² amount of redesigns, the only thing that changed for Citri is that he's gotten more fur. This must change! Therefore I present you the new Citri, right after his transformation redesignation! This is the new canon homunculus Citri, official design.

citrinitas (kitrinitaz) in podjak formal dress.
citrinitas amoiseƩ is the conservative soisson spelling of their name, the vernacular podja-senavolsh would be kitrinitaz (or kitrƬnitadz) amvasi and include their matronym pernejarƩ. senavolsh do not traditionally take surnames, only matronyms. foreigners residing in the city take on the trade matronym [surname] eijarƩ meaning "of not but the family [surname]". born podjaks of recently foreign descent (usually wealthy) do take on a proper matronym but keep keep their surname. eijarƩ was originally a kind of epithet for orphans and exiles before the time of the kunninarvoisa, as it continues to be beyond the city proper, but it has on an ironic or poetic aspect. witches, heroes, and actors are all eijarƩaks. citrini's mother pernelle (amoiseƩ) eijarƩ does not use her surname. maybe citrini will drop their own surname one day, too. but i could not say

Jea so, they're poly. And on the 'who tops' scale it's Albedo->Odiou->Citrijr. It follows one of the basic relationship dynamic of Domimommy->Domidaddy->Guy. I tots didn't make that up on the spot.
