1961 Buick Special station wagon.
Part of the first generation of the compact-sized Special line introduced by Buick for the 1961 model year. Featured a distinctive styling related to the larger Buicks of that year, including three "Ventiport" appliques on each front fender.
The 1961 Special was notable for being offered with the automotive industry's first American aluminum V-8 engine, a 215 cubic inch (3.5 liter) engine.
