c!ikari has no future because they’re already dead. Thier humanity is forfeit (but they are sorely mistaken). Eternity turns the past, present and future into a blur, and if not then it’s the manicial former god-”friend” that strips anything resembling thier life.

  But they do have one. Thier free will is thier future. Every heartbreaking moment, joyful, fearful/emotional moment of thier own and shared with others is how they can live with themselves. How they can wish for the future, and for themselves. 

Original RT Mangie and Blue have no future because they’re already living it. The future is the present and they have today to enjoy, and tomorrow, and the day after, and that birthday on thier calender and so on... They just have to work out some random things, but that’s life. 

RT Intervals Mangie has no future because they can’t believe they’d have one. No point in trying. But they’re still living, aren’t they? They’re not dead yet, they’re not gone. Anyone can become better. Even if it hurts and sucks complete ass, anyone can still try to be better. 

RT Intervals Blue has no future because they are weak, and finds that nothing stays. But nothing lasts forever, and they’ll find that not everything has been wiped away completely clean. They will find strength in themselves one day.

RT Nameless has no future because there’s no point in having one. What’s the point in living? Is there...? 

There is. Because they’re still here aren’t they? Not everything is going to be fine sometimes. But it’s going to be okay. They have to believe. 

Sorry for the depressin kinda content in here! read something, something struck me irl, and then it got me thinkin about how similar my characters are and maybe how they would view a “future”. kind of- its a composite of what they believe and what they’re doing regarding that concept. and like. ‘as long as you’re still here that means something’ that idea really resonates with me and its gonna resonate a lot in similar but slightly different ways. its not gonna be a very main point across all stories but like. :p  also yea “have to believe” super fuckin vauge i know but that was a really comforting notion to me in a way. I cant call it quits and be a wuss cause im still here. im still in the game. that kinda thing.

also in case i was too vauge: all of them are wrong about not having/being unable to have hopes, dreams or a future.

An old fashioned! Cart would certainly enjoy a drink after all the bullshit that happened. Ikari can’t do enough to repay Cart and his...Fiance? Wife? They lost track. But they can do things one at a time by serving them food! Thier drinks! Paying thier bills! Or some of it at least. They did live there now, so as a responsible roomate, they had to! Though this new...world they were situated in made it hard for them to find things to do. Created by that idiot “hero”. Eleven just couldn’t take it when Asuka died. The narratives had informed her that something along the lines of Asuka attempting to murder Eleven and obliterate an entire city was the cause of Eleven’s tears. Which was promptly, stupid. After all the death and destruction Asuka carried with her; After she had pointed a gun in Cart’s face--in the face of the only person who hadn’t betrayed Ikari yet, who hadn’t shot them in the back or choked the lungs out of thier air, who hadn’t broken thier ribs or erased thier memories or left them helpless or-

Ikari took a breath. Asuka was one thing, but Eleven was her slave. A person who greatly desired nothing genuine from her--just any sort of shallow affection would do for him. After everything that’s happened, Asuka was just a monster. If not a willing one, then an extremely ignorant and callous one. Eleven seeing all of that willingly followed her. And then when the two of them fell out, Ikari couldn’t have given less of a shit when he gave out his sob story. She just wanted him OUT.

Ikari scoffed. The ice they were chipping away at was harder than they thought.

Of course they had came to my safe place, that pathetic excuse of a god, here in MY BAR, IN SOMEONE ELSE’S HOUSE. Not to mention he had almost made them drop thier drink. How pathetic. Then I had to console his stupid girlfriend. THEN there was that ghost, and-

Her grip on the ice pick slipped and Ikari yelped in pain. The chunk of ice slipped out of her hand and slid across the floor. Blood stained the tip of the pick and Ikari just stared at the building pain dripping across her palm. A scowl came across her face as the audience’s eyes grasped and held her in a chokehold. She recoginzed the floor below now sporting a black splatter where they stood--shimmering, shattering reality just as her “wings” did. They snickered as Ikari stood on the spot dissapointed at themselves.

“Is it cold outside?”

Outside? Where was outside? They just wanted to go back home. No, that wasn’t their home. They meant their friend’s home where they had ransacked thier fridge and crept under thier floorboards. Like the lovable urchin they are.

That got the audience roaring in a fit. Thier eardrums nearly burst from the sudden noise pollution, as thier vision blurred--they weren’t supposed to be on stage yet, the program was on indefinite hiatus...Chainlinks around thier wrist, piercing thier laugher, was that right? But those chains were wrong, and they burned when they wove her hands through--When they wove thier hands through-

The ice pick grated across the cuff, and they realized their hand still bled. And the audience wasn’t there anymore, the spotlight shining into thier eyes was gone--they were back in the dimly lit basement. And thier drink was still unfinshed. No, something else was unfinished-

“Hah...god powers, activate!”

Ikari felt no power emanating from thier cuffs nor any excitement within thier body. Thier new “god” powers were still useless. Just as useless as ever. But it was fine. They didn’t want to use any of HIS power anyway. It was  disgusting that they even thought about using any of thier new suppressive power. 

“Well, that didn’t work. Who cares, anyways! I’m just gonna find a paper towel or a first aid kit...” 

And then after, they’d finish making thier drink for Cart. It was...an old fashioned. With...whiskey! They’d remember later. They just hope they get to live in relative peace a little bit longer.

//RPD!universe (A new canon exclusive scene placed between a confrontation with a ghost and the destruction of several cities. Occurs during Ikari’s time as “god”. I know, I know, no one else knows what I’m talking about but I just wanted to flesh out my story more. Also, writing practice.)

thinkin about how similar i keep having certain characters be and dynamics be???? they’re sometimes like very adjacent but slightly different flavours of each other but they’re actually not! like. HHHH.

GENERAL TREND: lacks consideration often, mean, general wild card, would generally be played for comedic sociopathy or said sociopathic moments may be played for greater impact

-RT Intervals features an asshole that is an asshole due to a combination of pleasure derived from saying whatever they want and a wanted suppression of empathy and more. The hostile charcter lashes out destructively, and both acknowledges the pain they cause and doesn’t at the same time thanks to mental gymnastics. Thier inner circle (the people they generally hate the least) are not spared from them being a complete jackass and insensitivity. they’llbe more sympathethic at times, but more often than not they’ll make fun of them all the same....

The other similar character is an asshole because they genuinely do not care, feels no remorse for a certain action and refuses to even apologize for what they see was a rightful punishment for someone’s stupidity.

- RPD!universe shares more of a character similarity than with dynamics, which is c!ikari! They are often outlandish, and impulsive, and often shares little symapthy or empathy outside of thier group. outside of the things they care about, they approach the situation in a very comedic way, and often don’t take things seriously at all. it’s often from the sheer randomness and stupidity their actions consist of that make up thier comedy and they are often on a line between “haha” vs “moment-killer” which of the former c!ikari strives to be mainly for in-universe reasons. outside, in meta my charatcer has been regarded as a moment killer too so uh... They’re basically the peanut gallery. sometimes.

-ORIGNIAL RT COMIC/ RT SERIES has the ‘original’ c!mangie, who is pretty much comedic sociopathy incarnated, which makes sense becuase the series is very lighthearted and meant to be comedic at it’s heart, and i was never able to fully finish getting to the more serious part. But they are careless, impulsive, regrets little, has like a little circle of friends they care about and if you insult thier friends then they WILL burn down your house once thier paitence is withered. they’re a lot more down to earth than the other two though, and spends a lot of thier comiedic moments comes from the banter they create between them and others.

-NO NAME: sur-fuckin-prise!!! i have like a 4th “main” series. I dont even have a full premise down yet XD but i already have my two main characters. The one in the trend takes also takesthings  little seriously, and treds this weird line similar to Intervals!Mangie between genuinely caring about someone and...not. This person is pretty much what intervals!Mangie wants to be, someone who genuinely would be a geuine malnipulatior without remorse. They are the fucking shady person at the end of an alley who asks you to accept a deal. they’d twist your arm less litterally and try to get into your head (maybe more litterally sometimes). They will convince you that they’re not even real! they’re just a figment of your mind and then fuck off when the cops arrive. Thier behavior is still eccentric, and makes little sense but is often presented as dangerous. Most of thier actions done will be played not for comedy. Only like ONE person knows about them in story , and that’s thier current vicitm servant :(

 OHHOHOHGHGH. I have too many stories. and damn i wanna talk about them. So i will talk about some of the ocs i rly love/like that ive made (and also about some universes) I’m going to only include my “main three” in this post but i may tlak more about other stories i was a part of/created

(RT Intervals: the ‘main’ universe I’m workin on. the story’s gonna be really downbeat. it centers on 3 people with varying problems and maybe the problems never get fully solved but character development is slow and perhaps underwhemling but YAY!  Time to talk about some of my fav. characters (ones ive actually devleopeed so far //sob)

-c!Blue- NOOOO BLUE BELOVED :( they are so nice (well they try to be) and m gonna serve em a world shattering deconstruction of thiere beliefs yay! they try to be nice but may end up patronizing instead but shes trying so much to be helpful :( shes so soft (kinda). 

c! “Scarf”- Hello, person that kinda holds moral superiority but also doesnt at the same time! they are tired but they cant describe how, and damn i love them sm they just lay there and want to do something but decides that nothing they do is 100% benefcial so they decide its better to watch from sidelines but they actually have a backbone.

-c!Mangie : are they evil? nah. maybe? Are they here to help? maybe. Do they feel guilty for anything????? MAYBE. they convinced themselves that they are litteraly the most shit person ever and does not actually wholeheartedly accept that cause if they did they’d break down lmao.  theyre still a jackass though and a lot of the things are do are not good. at all.

All three of the above litterally try to avoid thinking too hard about they actions cause if they did they’d shatter into a milion pieces

ORIGINAL RT COMIC: this story is based off a comic i did on paper a long time ago when I was younger. the characters like like..beta/other verisons of my main story. not fully completed ever, but this comic took on a more comedic tone with everything unlike RT Intervals where a majority of the cast’s actions would hold some sort of implications, though the comic would eventually shift to a darker-ish more serious tone in some moments

-c!Mangie(Original): Wears an identical jacket to c!Blue(original), except the fur lining is scuffed. they do shitty things but by the lines of sitcom logic and are 10% less of a jerk than RTI!Mangie. basically comedic sociopathy.  //but they actually still do care about some people like c!blue//. 

c!Blue(original): is currently trying to strangle c!mangie for the amount of property damage they’ve done. Wow, a version of Blue that actually has a backbone and morals. They still hang out with C!mangie though, so how moral they are is really debateable but its more like they stick around to act as damage control and cause DAMN THEY ARE BESTIES (HOW THO????) theyre a lot more reliable, but a lot less “pragmatic” than c!mangie.

c!Draconoir: I really couldn’t think of a better name for this guy. LMAO but hes a weird-ass dragon/pony hybrid with a SAADDDD past but for once that has no effect on whatever his plans are for today. Current chief of police for where c!mangie and c!blue lives. has plans for c!blue and c!mangie...

RP DM/RPD: A rp I was apart of, back in 2019-2020ish. It had some good times. Some times bad. I still curse the man who deleted the character storage becasue i now no longer have a timeline of events, summares nor analyses of ANY of the characters... It orginally was meant to be chill but thanks to me and another person it devolved into chaos. the story is finished, and was meant to have an...”alternate” season that would help explain any loose ends left inthe oringal but ah...thinkgs feel apart. for the better,to be honest. I will attempt to describe each major character the best I can, which is hard because accounts have since become deleted and people have played more than one character at a time. There will be some mild spoilers, concerning charcter development and identities but ill try and keep them to a minimum.

c!Ikari/Mangie (Me): chaotic reality bender that is genuinely delusional (in-universe) but in meta terms, they are techinally right. //they have this vauge belief that there is a “narrator” that dictates events that happen, and that the “narrator” has chosen to go against them whenever shit goes down. In universe, they’re wrong-- everything is truly of thier own will and of everyone’s own will but meta-wise...yea. They bend reality using cartoon logic (things like jump cuts, pulling things from “offscreen”, entering a cabinet to end up tumbling out of another house’s cabinent , etc). they believe a “perfect” world does not exist and if it did, it is thier responsibility to ruin that world. they have a book that is about to revive people and are implied to have formed a pact with demons.

C!Cart : a gangster hunted by multiple gangs, often gets high on weed and is ironically the most sane of the group. He has an affinity for weed, and is often dragged into a bigger picture by association, if hes not under hiding from eneimes. He’s not so above it all though, and due to his time as criminal (and from his time being associated with the other charatcers) he takes many things in stride, and is nonchalant about most things. ...too nonchalant sometimes.

C!Jade: Cart’s love intrest that serves as a mediator for whatever insane situation is going on. Due to her association with cart, she comes under fire from cart’s enemies as well. she takes a lot of what happens very hard (and like. is terrified of normally terrifying things.)

c!Asuka: A girl that has problems, and is...c!nate/c!eleven’s love intrest. she is a skilled sword-fighter and has like anime powers or something. faces problem with trying to find peace but also being haunted by something that causes her to destroy.

c!nate/eleven (this is one of the harder people to describe) : Nate and eleven were brothers, but eventually nate ended dying. both of them were superheros and had a very black/white mentaility which always made them the good guys. they oftentimes put either themselves or asuka on a priority list for what they want.
