[Asuka is a pretty direct person, and in general she does lament the state of her own life being so wounded and shattered. Eleven cares about Asuka deeply, and deeply believes that asuka also has feelings for him, even if not true?]

[Ikari does sometimes try to aid Asuka but they're so often ingrained by their hatred and don't use the best coping mechanism, which is why they give such questionable advice to her. They also acknowledge the possibility of their advice as horrible, and even question why they're even telling her this.]

[Eleven was only able to revive Asuka because he remade the world to make it so, and he reveals to have been a god the entire time, fooling everyone on what he really was. Asuka on her end, admitting this remade world is Eleven's domain entirely and she herself appears vulernable but really, is a unstoppable killer who's impulses will soon guide her to kill so many. She's not really aware of this, hence, the 'truthful' acting.]

They believe Asuka is incapable of living normally, given their own nature, repeated memory loss and depressive episodes.]

Ikari view this remade world as entirely lies, and Eleven wanting everyone to live peacefully in it as him shutting down free will. Ikari resists settling into the new world and going by Eleven's desires as freely as they can, and are intensely paranoid about him.]

[They view Asuka as the catalyst, and no matter how much they try they despise Asuka for getting so many people hurt and killed even before they fully snap in the remade world. They want to hurt Asuka, at least verbally because that's the only way they have left.]
