Record Store Day shenanigans
I really wanted a copy of The Lakes. Hellooooo, I’m an English major! This song just speaks to me! So, I camped outside my record store for hours. It was a really cute, well- lit area. I had this little alley all to myself.
Orrrrr so I thought. My mother was too worried about me camping out alone so she drove TWO HOURS -without telling me - and just showed up ! To sit with me! Love her so much 🤣🤍 (yes, she got a copy of The Lakes as well!)
The air was cold … but something about it felt like home, somehow. 😘

This was my first RSD experience. It was really fun talking to new people and asking what they were looking for. Everyone wanted something different. One old man said, “I’m not telling you! This happened last year!” 🤣 I had the best time.
