Sooo, out of all the 14-heart events, this one is by far my favorite cutscene. Like seriously. The hot wizard takes you on a romantic underwater date, you get blessed by a mermaid for your marriage, and she even gifts you a bracelet. A Mermaid’s Bracelet.
It’s basically like the Mermaid’s Pendant, but worn on the wrist and not gonna lie, that alone makes it feel extra special. I’m 100% keeping it in my inventory even though it’s “just” a bracelet. This is a precious, wonderful gift from my wizard husband, especially when the farmer is a very active florist and adventurer.

Here’s the inside farmhouse layout of Runerose Farm, the home of my farmer Thalia, her wizard husband Magnus, their two lovely children Lunette and Melric, and two more little ones who will be arriving soon.
Yes, the house is very lived in. Yes, it’s a little full. And yes, this family has been busy.
Quick AU note: Lunette and Melric may look small here because of game limitations, but in my AU they’re actually pre-teens. Their baby brother and sister will be appearing soon, because apparently Magnus and Thalia decided that four children was a perfectly reasonable idea.
This post also includes the interior layout of their beach house, because one magically inclined family apparently needs two homes.
And no, I’m not listing the mods I used. I am extremely lazy, I used a lot of mods to make this house, and I will absolutely forget something. If you’re curious, just comment and ask, I’ll happily find the mod and send you the links.
After months of playing Stardew Valley with Stardew Valley Expanded installed, I finally reached my second Perfection with my farmer Thalia. All the grinding, chaos, and emotional moments have finally paid off and it feels so rewarding.
This playthrough reminded me why I love SVE so much: the slow progress, the added depth, and the satisfaction of earning everything step by step. Reaching the Summit after all that work felt like the perfect conclusion.
I have a short video of Thalia reaching the Summit, with her husband Magnus waiting for her there. The quality isn’t the best since I still don’t know how to properly screen record on my laptop, but I really wanted to capture this moment anyway.
Thalia’s story isn’t over yet, more adventures still await her. 🌄✨
It’s such a good day for me today because my online packages finally arrived and honestly, I was already excited but this made it even better.
The highlight? My custom SDV perler keychains. I got one of my farmer Thalia and her handsome wizard husband, Magnus Rasmodius, and I’m not even kidding, they turned out so cute. I keep staring at them like... yeah, that’s my little couple right there.
I also ordered a Junimo crochet plushie because it looked so fluffy and adorable, and I was right. It’s soft, it’s cute and I already know I’m bringing it with me when I travel. No hesitation.
They even included some freebies, which I really appreciated. There was a little Junimo perler keychain in there too and it was such a nice surprise.
This is probably my third time placing an order from their shop, and honestly... I don’t think I’m stopping anytime soon. I mean, I want the complete set of my farmers and their spouses. I’ve already accepted it.
Huge shoutout to KnoTela Creations for making these, they’re all so charming, and I genuinely love every piece.

Summary: Birthday mornings are pretty straightforward for Magnus, but the real magic happens when night falls. With Thalia by his side, he strolls through the Night Market, bundled up in cozy coats and surrounded by the warm glow of lanterns. Crystal flowers catch their eyes, magic hums gently from the stalls, and quiet moments of affection thread through their evening. It’s a night of gentle wonders, shared smiles, and love that feels as enduring as the winter stars above.
A/N: This fic was inspired by Magnus’s dialogue from the Romanceable Rasmodius Redux Revamped mod, with a few creative liberties taken along the way. The crystal flowers are something I made up. However, considering that Stardew Valley Expanded includes a "Diamond Flower" hidden deep within the Diamond Cavern in the Highlands... I like to believe crystal flowers might just be canon somewhere out there.
The winter night had settled softly over the valley, bringing a sense of calm and tranquility. The cold lingered in the air, gentle like a shared breath between the earth and the sky. Snow rested lightly on rooftops and fences, blanketing winding paths and wooden docks in quiet layers that glimmered with the faint light of lanterns scattered throughout the town. Beyond, the sea lay dark and patient, its surface reflecting bits of light that danced across the water with the slow rhythm of the tide, while the distant sound of waves drifted easily through the stillness. Above the sky stretched clear and deep, an endless expanse overhead as if the valley itself had paused to listen, content to bask in the serene embrace of winter.
It was Magnus’s birthday, though anyone expecting a loud celebration or a gathering filled with attention would have been quietly disappointed. The morning had passed exactly as he preferred it, slow and comfortable within the warmth of their home, the fire crackling softly as snow gathered outside the windows. Lunette and Melric had clung to him with their clumsily wrapped gifts, their excitement bright and uncontained, filling the room with laughter. Thalia had prepared his favorite breakfast and cake, simple yet thoughtful, and kissed him gently as she wished him another year of shared days, unhurried evenings and memories built in small meaningful moments. For Magnus, that was more than enough. Later, when the children were off to spend the night with close friends, he turned down any further festivities and instead suggested something that felt just right for the peaceful contentment of the day.
The Night Market, just the two of them, free from expectations and watchful eyes.
Every winter as the season fully embraced the valley, merchants from far-off lands would gather along the docks, setting up their stalls beneath strings of lanterns and carved wooden posts, offering wares that ranged from simple crafts to rare curiosities and carefully enchanted magical artifacts. This tradition would appear as quickly as it disappeared, transforming the shoreline into a place of soft lights, hushed conversations and the gentle hum of enchantment woven into everyday objects. That evening, Magnus and Thalia joined the slow stream of visitors, bundled in warm winter clothes, his cloak heavy and dark against the cold while her coat was lined and practical, wrapped snugly around her as snow crunched softly beneath their boots.
They walked at an unhurried pace, their fingers loosely intertwined as they moved along the docks, as though time itself had decided to slow in their favor. Thalia’s eyes sparkled with quiet excitement as she took in every stall they passed, from shimmering glass trinkets to delicate carvings and glowing items that carried magic. She leaned in closer to him more than once, her shoulder brushing against his arm as she pointed out her favorite finds, her genuine wonder grounding him more firmly than any spell ever could.
Eventually, they came to a halt in front of a stall brimming with intriguing treasures. Its shelves were filled with charms, crystals, and small artifacts whose purposes were a mystery, each one catching the lantern light in a way that blurred the line between glass and magic.
Magnus felt his focus sharpen almost instantly, the familiar pull of arcane curiosity stirring within him as he examined the collection with a keen practiced eye. His own magic responded gently just beneath the surface, ready to engage. “This is an impressive collection... Some of these trinkets could prove to be exceptionally useful for my rituals.”
Thalia remained beside him, content to simply observe rather than analytical as her eyes wandered from one item to the next, soaking in their colors, textures, and the unique character each piece seemed to possess. Every so often, she would raise her hand just close enough to feel the subtle hints of magic woven into the items, careful not to actually touch them, showing her respect for both the enchantments and the stall owner.
Magnus couldn't help but notice how she took her time, her every movement radiating a relaxed curiosity. A familiar warmth blossomed in his chest as he turned to her, offering a gentle smile. “How about you, my heart? Anything catch your eye?”
She met his gaze effortlessly, her smile calm and sincere as she glances back at the stall one last time before turning her full attention to him, her expression more contemplative than tempted.
“They’re beautiful.” she said softly, her voice carrying that quiet sense of wonder he had grown to cherish so much, “But honestly, I think I prefer just enjoying them rather than owning them. Tonight feels so much better when it’s just the two of us here together.”
His smile deepened at her answer, and without hesitation he moved closer, one hand reaching out to pull her gently against him, as if the bustling crowd and the distant music had faded into a mere backdrop, completely unimportant.
“I’m always eager to adorn you with proof of our connection. Of course, nothing could ever compare to the beauty of your soul.”
Thalia let out a soft chuckle, her hand resting comfortably against his chest as she tilted her head slightly, her eyes sparkling with playful affection instead of embarrassment.
“You say things like that so easily.” she said with a playful smile, “One day I’ll have to start charging you for all the hearts you leave behind without even trying.”
They continued walking along the docks, the buzz of chatter and distant melodies wrapping around them as the night unfolded. Eventually, Thalia’s pace began to slow and she came to a complete stop. Magnus sensed the change right away and turned to see what had caught her eye, a stall showcasing a collection of paintings. One piece seemed to draw her in, almost as if it had whispered her name. The canvas captured a sunrise spilling across the sky in warm golds and softened violets. Thalia found herself captivated, imagining how beautiful it would look in one of their children's rooms, welcoming them each morning with its gentle colors and warmth.
“My love.” she said softly, tugging his hand just enough to draw his attention back to her, “Don’t you think that would look lovely in Lunette and Melric’s room? It feels... kind, like a good way to start the day.”
Magnus took a moment to study the painting before looking back at her, a hint of caution in his expression, his brow raised as if he already had an inkling of where this conversation was going. “It is pleasant.” he said carefully, “But we’ve already bought quite a few things for the house over the years. I’d prefer not to turn our home into a gallery without giving it some serious thought.”
Thalia chuckled at that, clearly amused and leaned closer to him, her voice softening as if she were sharing a harmless secret. “It wouldn’t be a gallery.” she replied gently, “Just one painting, and it’s for the children. Besides, you’re always telling me the house should feel lived in.”
He let out a soft sigh and despite his best efforts to hold it back, the corners of his mouth betrayed him, twitching upward. “You are aware that you use my own words against me far too often.” he remarked, stealing another glance at the painting as if it might defend her position all on its own.
Thalia laughed softly at that, her grip on his hand tightening with affection. “Only when they’re good ones.” she teased, fully aware that she had planted a seed of thought that would stick around, even if he wasn’t ready to admit it just yet.

The world outside had settled into a peaceful quiet, the day’s chaos fading into a gentle hush. Magnus wrapped his arms around Thalia’s waist, pulling her closer as if nothing else mattered beyond this small, perfect bubble they shared. She let out a soft sigh, the weight of exhaustion easing away under his touch, and he placed a tender kiss on her neck, feeling her relax against him. At the edge of the bed, Onyx, their sleek black cat, purred softly in his sleep, curled up in a tiny crescent, a silent witness to their moment. For a while, there were no orders to fill, no magic to master, no errands to run, just Thalia, Magnus, and the gentle rise and fall of shared breaths. In that embrace, the day’s fatigue unraveled, leaving behind a calm, lingering sweetness, like a secret the night held just for them.
Summary: Stardew Valley’s Luau Festival brings together warmth, laughter, and the scents of the sea, but for Thalia and her wizard husband Magnus, it’s a day that tests patience, playfulness, and the quiet magic that binds them. Throughout the festive bustle and sun-drenched shores, the couple finds joy, mischief, and the kind of connection that only grows stronger in shared moments, both ordinary and extraordinary.
A/N: This fanfic was inspired by a headcanon from @studentinpursuitofclouds about Magnus getting pushed off the rock by Farmer. I apologize for constantly tagging you, Mousey. I’ve been struggling with writer’s block lately, and your headcanon stories have been my inspiration to push through it.
The season of summer had always wrapped Stardew Valley in a warm, cozy embrace, bursting with vibrant colors and festivity, with The Luau Festival shining as the star of the show. The sun beamed down from its lofty perch, casting golden rays over the beach, where nearly every resident of Pelican Town had gathered. Bright colorful streamers fluttered in the ocean breeze, and wooden tables were piled high with dishes from every household. At the center of it all was the big wooden cauldron, where the valley’s famous potluck soup, bubbling away as villagers brought bowls brimming with fresh veggies, roasted meats, fish, and fruits to share. The air was filled with the mouthwatering scents of spiced yams, charred corn, baked salmon, and juicy pineapples, creating a delightful haze of aromas wafting over the beach. Children raced along the shore, playfully chasing each other with seashells in hand, while Gus called out orders as he arranged platters. Meanwhile, the loudspeakers that Mayor Lewis insisted on renting blasted what he referred to as music, though it was really just a chaotic jumble of hollow beats.
Magnus had been to more Luaus than he could possibly remember, and while he held no ill feelings towards the people of the valley, he could not hide the weariness that each festival inspired. Standing tall at the end of the dock, his dark robe stood out vividly against the brightness of the day. The summer heat didn’t bother him, thanks to a simple protective spell he had cast that kept the sun’s warmth at bay, making the air around him cool and pleasant despite the season. He even extended that enchantment to his wife, Thalia, unwilling to let her to suffer through the sweltering heat while she enjoyed the festivities.
Not too far from him, she chatted with Leah and Elliott, her silver-ash hair neatly braided and adorned with white sampaguita blossoms and purple hibiscus, which sparkled like jewels in her hair. She wore a soft lavender halterneck dress, the fabric light and airy, flowing gracefully with the sea breeze. Delicate flower designs were stitched along the hem, simple yet elegant, and a cream sash at her waist gave the dress a lovely shape. The dress revealed the line of her upper back, though much of it was hidden by her hair that swayed with every turn of her head.
Magnus’s golden eyes lingered on her, softening at the edges despite himself. She had this effortless way of standing out, calm and composed amidst the festival's chaos, a steady light that drew him in time and time again. Even after all these years by her side, he never grew weary of watching her. No matter the season, no matter the setting, she had a way of making him remember just how fortunate he was to share his life with her.
Yet if Thalia’s laughter made the festival bearable, the music was a whole different story. The wizard’s mouth tightened into a thin line as another jarring set of notes shrieked from the loudspeakers. “This…” he muttered under his breath, his voice dripping with both disdain and exhaustion, “Is not music. It’s a brutal assault on the ears, a travesty masquerading as celebration.” He spoke softly, as if confiding to the sea alone, but Thalia, glancing back from her conversation, caught his remark and raised an eyebrow, her emerald eyes glinting.
“You say that every year, my love.” she replied playfully, gliding over to him with the effortless grace of someone who’s heard his grumblings countless times. Her hand slipped into his, fingers intertwining with his as she beamed up at him. “At this point, Magnus, I think your complaints are as much a tradition of the Luau as the soup itself.”
“Then it is a tradition best forgotten.” he said, though a hint of a smile danced on his lips, mixing with a touch of seriousness. He lifted her hand and brushed his lips against her knuckles, whispering. “Still, if I have to endure this racket, at least I’m doing it in the company of someone whose presence makes even the loudest noise bearable.”
Her cheeks flushed slightly, but she shook her head with fond exasperation. “Flattery won’t save you when I drag you onto the dance floor later.”
“Spare me such fate.” Magnus replied with a mock-serious tone, but Thalia just laughed again before heading back to Leah and Elliott to continue their conversation.
The wizard let his gaze wander back to the sea, where the horizon stretched out endlessly in shades of sapphire and silver. His eyes settled on a small, unremarkable rock that jutted from the water not far from the shore, according to the villagers they called it “The Lonely Stone”. He had known about it for decades but had never taken the time to look at it closely. Now, with the pounding music gnawing at his patience and the endless chatter swelling behind him, the stone appeared to him as a refuge. It stood firm against the tide, solitary yet resolute, and Magnus felt a flicker of curiosity. Perhaps, he thought, spending a moment in meditation on that rock would be far better than enduring another round of whatever dreadful tune the loudspeakers had lined up.
With a subtle flick of his wrist, his body shimmered and vanished from the dock, reappearing atop the stone in the blink of an eye. The villagers were too wrapped up in their festivities to notice, and even if they had, none would have dared question the wizard’s eccentricities. Willy perched on the edge of the dock, fishing rod in hand, carefully adjusting his line. As he looked out over the water, he spotted the Wizard perched on a rock and couldn't help but chuckle, thinking to himself that the sea had witnessed far stranger things than a wizard lounging in the waves.
The rock's surface felt dry and pleasantly warm under the sun, smooth enough for a comfortable seat. Magnus settled into a lotus position, resting his hands gently on his knees. He closed his eyes, letting the sound of the waves envelop him, mingling with the distant cries of seagulls and the calming rhythm of water meeting stone. The salty breeze caressed his skin, drowning out the faint sounds of the festival in the background.
For a moment, the world narrowed to nothing but the endless stretch of sea and sky, a rare slice of true stillness and meditation that he treasured. In that peaceful space, the usual stresses of the day melted away, leaving only the tranquil pulse of the ocean to ground his thoughts. It felt as if time itself had slowed to sync with the tide's ebb and flow.
Just when he was lost in the peaceful stillness, a sudden icy splash of water yanked him back to reality. The wizard found himself tumbling headfirst into the salty depths. The frigid water wrapped around him, his robe weighing him down, hair getting tangled in seaweed, and his wide-brimmed hat slipping askew as it filled with water and kelp. He sputtered, breaking the surface with a gasp, his golden eyes wide with confusion, breath knocked from him by the suddenness of the fall.
Joyful sounds rang from the dock, mingling with the rhythmic crash of waves and carrying across the water in a carefree melody.
“Forgive me, dearest!” Thalia called out, her voice playful and light as her hand floated gracefully in front of her, a soft flickering glow of magic tracing the movement of her wrist. With a gentle, controlled flick, she sent a tiny spark of energy skimming across the water’s surface, intended only to startle, not to send him tumbling headfirst into the ocean. “I just wanted to give you a little surprise, a gentle pop to grab your attention, and not… well, this rather dramatic dive into the sea!”
Magnus blinked slowly, droplets of seawater trickling down the heavy folds of his robe as he shifted slightly with the gentle sway of the waves. He turned his gaze toward her with the kind of composure that was both infuriating and awe-inspiring. The corners of his mouth curled into a slow, deliberate smile that spoke of amusement and quiet calculation, far more unsettling than any scowl could have been. Even as droplets traced down his back, his golden eyes glimmered with mischievous intent, betraying a quiet delight in the chaos.
“My beloved.” he began, his voice smooth and measured, effortlessly cutting through the soft roar of the waves. “You do realize that there are consequences when one takes the liberty of startling a wizard in meditation, even in such a… whimsical fashion.”
Thalia’s laughter, still echoing from the little spell she had just cast to give him a scare, wavered for a moment as she blinked, taken aback by the seriousness that had crept into his voice. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she tried to make sense of the sight before her, him, both dripping wet and oddly composed. “Magnus…?” she started, her tone a mix of incredulity and rising irritation, a hint of sharpness threading through the softness of her earlier laughter as she sensed the subtle threat hidden in his calm demeanor.
Before she could even react further, Magnus raised a hand and snapped his fingers, the air around her shimmering with a familiar subtle light, and in the blink of an eye, she was no longer standing safely on the dock but had been transported into the cool rolling waves beside him, waist-deep in the sea. Her lavender dress, light and airy, clung softly to her form in the gentle current, while the flowers in her hair had been tousled, mingling with a few stray strands of seaweed.
Thalia struggled to regain her balance, her emerald eyes wide and a startled gasp escaping as the sea’s cool embrace wrapped around her, the sudden plunge from the dock sending a thrill through her chest.
“Magnus!” she exclaimed, pushing her damp hair away from her face. The laughter that had filled the air just moments ago was now tinged with a mix of exasperation and playful indignation, her voice rising above the gentle roar of the waves, a mixture of surprise and restrained amusement. “You! How dare you!” she began, but her words faltered, disbelief overtaking her as she took in his sudden action, the spark of anger softened by the absurdity of the moment.
Then Magnus let out a hearty laugh, warm and free, echoing across the water in a way that made the waves seem to join in his joy. “Oh, but I would, my love.” he replied, his voice teasing yet calm, as if this playful act was just part of the balance he cherished. “Isn’t it only fair that if I’m to be embraced by the sea, you should share the experience in equal measure? We are partners in everything, after all.” With a casual flick of his fingers, he plucked a stray piece of kelp from her shoulder, holding it delicately as if it were a precious gem, and looked at her with a playful grin. “And yet.” he added, his voice dropping into that familiar soft, teasing tone that always ignited a spark in her, “You wear this little addition with surprising grace. Perhaps we have found a new accessory for your crown, hibiscus, sampaguita, and a touch of seaweed to complete the ensemble.”
Thalia narrowed her eyes, a hint of irritation creeping in as her initial shock faded away. She stared at him, aghast for a moment, the ridiculousness of his calm amusement only stoking the small spark of anger inside her. With a quick flick of her wrist, she sent a generous splash of seawater across his chest, “You insufferable man!” she exclaimed, her voice rising with a mix of exasperation and laughter, as she scooped up more water and flung it right at his face, determined to reclaim at least a bit of control in this playful but infuriating battle that had turned the serene sea into their private stage of chaos.
Magnus sputtered for a moment before bursting into another fit of laughter, retaliating with a wave of water conjured by magic sending it cascading over her. Thalia shrieked and lunged forward, splashing him with both hands, seaweed flying between them as their playful skirmish spiraled into delightful chaos. What started as a simple trick morphed into a full-blown contest, each splash and strike of kelp punctuated by fits of laughter, until they were both drenched, their dignity long surrendered to the tide.
“Willy’s watching!” Thalia exclaimed, breathless with laughter as she playfully flicked another strand of seaweed at him, the water glimmering in the sunlight as it sailed toward his chest.
“Let him.” Magnus said with a relaxed smile, his long hair sticking to his back and his robe feeling heavy from the water, though a gentle enchantment kept him comfortably cool. “The man has witnessed far stranger things than a wizard outmatched by his wife, and I doubt he’ll be too worried about our… lively competition.”
From the dock, Willy let out a low, amused grunt and shook his head, muttering in his usual drawl, “Aye, the soup’s ready.” before turning his attention to the cauldron, completely unfazed by the playful chaos in the water, leaving Magnus and Thalia to their laughter-filled skirmish without the faintest hint of judgment.
Thalia’s cheeks flushed and laughter bubbling up in delightful bursts, finally leaned against Magnus’s shoulder, taking a moment to catch her breath as giggles shook her sides. “You look absolutely ridiculous.” she whispered between breaths, her teasing tone softening the words, her bright emerald eyes shining with warmth and affection, even in their shared disheveled state.
Magnus wrapped a protective arm around her waist, pulled her a little closer, planting a gentle kiss on the top of her damp hair where the hibiscus and sampaguita had been scattered by the waves. The golden afternoon light danced in his eyes, reflecting tenderness and quiet amusement. “And yet.” he murmured softly, his voice a soothing hum that blended with the rhythm of the waves and the distant sounds of the festival, “In this ridiculousness, in this chaos and laughter we share, I find joy far greater than any meditation, a peace that no solitary contemplation could ever provide.”
