so, this was supposed to be just a tiny improvement for my first theme: add some fixes for npf photosets, changing a few things now that I know more about them (margin:auto instead of calculating every margin, for example), the usual. and then it all went to hell and I spent 8 hours on this
Jemma Loves The Stars - Remastered (theme #05)
Note: static preview has some posts that have nothing to do with the blog aesthetic to show you the various fixes (npf photosets of another actress, random asks).
in the source you’ll find: pastebin, static preview, link to the old version and its original features (which are still here)
the old version is still alive and kicking, what does this one have on top of the previous features? -npf photosets fix by glenthemes (now present in the original version too though) -lightbox, script to automatically resize video correctly, pixel union photosets all by shythemes + the little fix to their script by chloethemes. Also, a like button (on the top right, so I moved the usual reblog button on the top left) -unnested captions by annasthms without any script, just her genius and using the undocumented docs to build them, which you can toggle on and off, one for textposts and one for all others (in case you use xkit to edit textposts and you don’t like the final result). -slightly shorter container so the links are more visible, slightly adjusted popups -asks you reblog from other people have now their own style instead of just looking like a question and a blockquoted comment under it. Submit posts get their own style too as much as tumblr allows. Audio posts and chats? also re-styled. -tumblr controls that are smaller, and almost transparent until you hover, and black -other little corrections you may not even notice, like post titles looking the same but having their own div in the body, while h2 which I used to style them before now gets its own style because I realized that if someone writes in 'big' font from the dash it turns into h2 and it's a mess
do NOT look at it through your preview in the editor page, it messes plenty things up and you can’t even see the npf photosets. Keep a tab with your blog open to see the real changes there.
Like or reblog if you use, or just if you like? Don’t remove the credit/claim as yours. Edit as much as you want! obligatory reminder I have a ko-fi <3
