Esteban and Mateo feat. Elena - To Be A Prince (Prince Consort preperations)

PLOT:

Before his wedding to Elena Esteban teaches Mateo what it means to be Prince Consort. From propper table manners to walking correctly, Esteban also mentions the downside of putting on a facade and not showing your emotions in front of the people, where Mateo symphasizes with him. Esteban even teachest Mateo the lullabies his abuelos sang to him as a child for any future children Elena and Mateo will have in the future.

Crossing his legs expectantly, Rumplestiltskin eyed the shepherd boy as he gave his warning. “Everybody has a choice, dearie. Just make sure it’s the right one.”

As soon as the young man conceded, some tension fell away. Good. Another item to check off the list. But really it was only one of thousands of tiny steps. He was trying to enjoy it—really, he was—but he’d fallen into a funk since … since that incident that must go unspoken. As he stood with a satisfied smirk fixed to his face, Rumple subtly felt his jacket to make sure the flask was still there. Of course it was. He’d put it there a minute ago. He just had to be certain.
