This is probably the shortest and the most tipid trip that I’ve ever had in my entire life. And guess what, it is not planned! Yes, you’ve read it right. Not planned at all. Honestly we went there with only 5k on hand and we survived (yes, gas and toll included). 😀
So here’s how the story goes: I woke up, actually, my husband woke me up around 1pm and told me to get up because we’re going to Baguio. We didn’t have any plans at all but I know that we’re gonna go somewhere.. just not Baguio or any place that would require long driving. So I got up, got prepped, wore a tank top and super short shorts and got my school backpack because I’m too lazy to transfer items to a different bag. I got in the car, the next thing I know we are already in SLEX. Lol! I could not believe it! I looked at the back seat and he was damn prepared for it.. he had extra clothes!!! I don’t have anything with me. I’m not even dressed appropriately. This trip actually happened in December so yes it’s freaking cold.
There are also so many firsts during this trip. I can’t believe that there are still places that I haven’t been to yet like Chocolate de Batirol which is really famous so I don’t know why I haven’t been there all this time. Burnham Park is super Christmasy and I love it. Christmas season has always been my favorite. It was also my first time to go to Tam-Awan Village and eat at the Farmer’s Daughter.
Our spontaneous and overnight trip turned out to be one of my best trips ever. It’s true when they say, the best things happen when unplanned. ♥
Where are we going?! Baguio!
