Movie: Larry Crowne (2011)
Until he was downsized, affable, amiable Larry Crowne (Hanks) was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he's worked since his time in the Navy. Unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over. In his public-speaking class, Larry develops an unexpected crush on his teacher, who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband... The simple guy who has every reason to think his life has stalled will come to learn an unexpected lesson: when you think everything worth having has passed you by, you just might discover your reason to live.
Wonderful movie about how you can build a new yourself, even if you don’t think it’s possible, after many many years. In 2 different ways, Larry and Mercedes will figure out how they could change, and improve, their lives. It’s about love obviously, but it’s also about friendship, teaching, communication / advertising, and about why everybody should get a scooter because it’s so cool!! and should bring you lots of friends ;) You’ll see there’s always a way to talk about anything and you’ll find out a wonderful casting: Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, and even the hottie from Mr Robot, Rami Malek!
