GODDDDDDD okay so in omnivore (4x18) when hotch is spiraling and rossi snaps at him to pull him out of said spiral he says something along the lines of ādonāt let the job destory you, like [mentions other people I think] and like gideon.ā WHICH implies that they had SOME KIND of contact after gideon left he bau (and/or he heard through the grapevine about what happened)
ik they (writers) probably either a) didn't fully (or didnāt at all) have the bsu storyline yet and/or b) this is meant to be the start of it but...god can you imagine them speaking again after all those years? gideon being in a horrible mental space and rossi reaching out to check on him? (possibly making the drive to the middle of fuckass nowhere to see him in the cabin?)
like WHAT HAPPENED. I want to know. let me be privy to the cm lore secrets.....

ik we kind of got a little peak during that one ep (canāt remember which one off the top of my head </3) but I wish we got MORE of the behavioral science unit gideon and rossi. what was it like in the early days? what was it like once they were semi-accepted by the other branches of the fbi? I want to know so bad.
sometimes I wonder if, in his guilt for Having Feelings, rossi tried to start shit w gideon but he we like āno Iām sure we can talk it out :)ā and it just made rossi more frustrated because he wanted a reason to hate him. he wanted to make gideon mad so heād push him away, but it never happened because gideon never wanted to hate him.
