i don’t animate very often so that’s why you rarely see video artwork from me… waow. it’s almost been a year since the pitbull terrier animation haha. animation is a really slow and tiring process for me; the bait n switch one i just finished was started way back in november, actually, and i had worked on it on and off since then. i did in fact have a lot of fun animating for bait and switch saiou, even if it killed my hand lmao.

sighs… i guess this is the moment i admit to myself and to everyone else that the answer is likely no 🥲 my tendency to hyperfixate on certain things is that they typically last a generous amount of time. xingyun, for example, i think was four years running but i admittedly ran out of steam sometime around september of last year. i understand this is likely a very saddening admission for a lot of my followers, given that i built a vast majority of my following around those two and genshin impact as a whole.

i have a wide variety of interests right now that are keeping me entertained and livening up my drawings, but right now i can say for certainty my “main” hyperfixation is danganronpa with saiou more specifically being the ones i daydream about drawing everyday haha. this, too, will pass one day i’m sure. but right now i plan to ride it out and enjoy it while it lasts — whether that be another three years just like xingyun, or just a few more months. who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

as a joke, i started showing my friends this question to get their answer. it was all good fun and simple banter, but the more i think about it the answer is likely yes. i adore the sun in all her glory. she is bright and beautiful and like a moth to a flame i seek her presence every day when i awake. she warms me and makes me happy and lights up the world in such a lovely way. she kisses my skin in a way that leaves freckles in their wake and it serves as a reminder that i am breathing and that i am alive. it’s beautiful, i think, the act of being alive. in truth, i am no better than the fluffy, delicate insects who flutter about in the night in search of her comfort.

this is genuinely so cool. i think you did a phenomenal job — in fact when i first saw this, i had to do a double take because i was very confused why kokichi was sitting up next to chongyun — like when did i draw those two on the same canvas?? i don’t remember doing that!
