I work at a hotel and those things just...manifest themselves into rooms I swear.
You're allowed to hate whatever you want, although the bugs themselves are just doing what they need to do to survive and propagate their species. There's no more malice in that than there is in a bird eating seeds. You can hate the inconvenience a pest bug causes without hating the bugs themselves. But that's just my philosophy, and no one has to subscribe to it.

(one) of Cursed Cloud Strife's most traumatic universes is the one wher ehe and Reno are married. ^_^
Absolutely
Is there a universe where Cloud married Barret?
There are infinite universes, so I'm sure there is.
What are Calamity Zack's thoughts of Cloud x Zack + possible others? Is he just like whatever floats your boat?
Calamity Zack rolls with anything that's healthy for Cloud and everyone else he loves. (And ugh, fine Aerith, things that are also healthy for Genesis.)
Strifesodos family - Genesis is better now and mourning and guilty as hell. Ends up finally throwing himself at/on Cloud in hopes of judgement/absolution...something. Tifa and Barret have just left of their honeymoon post Advent Children and Cloud needs help. He has Marlene, Denzel, Moogle Girl, and three now infant former(ish) Sephiroth clones to wrangle. Yuffie was supposed to help but she's more aiding and abetting. Genesis finds absolution might come in wiping sticky hands, and taking children to and from school, and changing dirty diapers.
Live your dreams and write it! I'm sure people would love to see this AU in a fic.
I had stopped being able to read the naruto manga way back near the beginning of shippuden (it was still coming out at the time) due to the store I had access to not bothering to carry the volumes anymore (man am I old 🤣) then different fandoms caught me and years go by so my mind has the sasuke naruto meeting with sasuke draping himself over naruto to threaten him and sakura being competent with healing kankuro and fighting sasori... so I was...confused when I recently fell back into the fandom why sakura would even be with sasuke...as I felt mature medic nine fighter girl would have understood that she'd had a crush and moved on.
Like, Naruto and Sasuke had so much stuff between them I get why they haven't let each other go.
So it seemed weird as hell that sakura would even still "like" sasuke... as her original feelings stemmed from childish "he's so cute and broody" which is okay in a 12 year old girl but less okay as an adult woman...
The naruhina I though, ah, he and hinata must have had many moments in all the parts I've missed, and bonded...oh...she just...endangers herself and confesses to which naruto doesn't react at all...and then their married...
As a shonen manga I figured we wouldn't get a blatant narusasu ending (even though they are the best) ...I'm even a cheery multishipper often for characters I like but...it was so sad. I'd of been happier to have it end with shion just randomly turning up to have naruto keep his baby making promise...
Anywho sorry for blathering on.
I adore your art as well, it's super pretty and I need all the naruto x sasuke content to heal my shipper soul...
Hi @roseunspindle !
Oh gosh!! You couldn’t read past the reunion scene??? I would’ve gone crazy 😭
Yeah, Sakura never matured in that department. Even in the sequel where she’s supposedly married to Sasuke, Ino derisively says she’ll forever stay a girl in love. Like the story had to spell it out for readers. There is this weird vibe between her and Sarada when it comes to Sasuke.. I don’t even know how to describe it but it’s creepy. Even when there is a kid involved somehow and they speak of marriage, Sasuke gives her no reason to love him romantically and it surprises her still that he showed no concern for her life whatsoever. Sasuke, who expresses through action in most cases, is still as indifferent as ever towards her.
Sakura has moments where she shows some care for characters, mainly driven by her being a medic, but emotionally, it is bizarre how little she cares about Sasuke and yet, at the same time seems to only care about him... if it involves herself. She doesn’t even question why Sasuke does what he does or tries to understand how he feels. Even when she gets fed little snippets of his pain or the source of that, she doesn’t try to find an answer. In the very end she doesn’t even give a shit about his reason to travel or defend his words regarding "redemption". She felt entitled to an apology while she was the one going up to him with the intention to kill him. Even when he tries to explain why he wants to travel, she just cuts off his words because she wants to go with him regardless of his intentions or goals. I get why some people wanted a development for Sakura where she’d be able to let that crush for him go, but story-wise? That would take a lot from Kishimoto because there is also a lot of insecurity involved too.. And frankly, she's very much a red herring :')
Meh, nh... I have nothing to say.
Well, SNS-fans often say their story is very tragic. But that’s not just how we feel, it IS a fact that Naruto and Sasuke went from receiving a semi-sweet/bitter-sweet (depends on how you look at it as we got a resolve but not a clear resolution yet) in ch 698/699 to a bitter ending in 700 where they suddenly not only didn’t have what they wanted, but certainly not what they needed either. To combat that in the sequel, they shoved all the problems of the world onto a bunch of aliens... distracting everyone from the hypocrisy of the system. Neither Naruto or Sasuke got to work on the thing they wanted and their internal desires were completely massacred for the sake of these kids. And both of them have shown that if they don’t have what they need, they will fail the thing they ultimately want. Meaning, the Shinobi world will forever stay the same while spitting on their dream for the future and the trauma they had to go through because of it. It’s not even about SNS or the story being Shonen... but the concept, which Sasuke talked about at the end that was supposed to be a vehicle for a better world is completely retconned.
... but I’m happy that besides that, SNS is still widely and largely celebrated regardless. And that says a lot! I’m happy to hear you like my art 🥰💕 that really means a lot, thankyou so much!! (I’m trying to heal myself through them too ;-;!)
I've never quite been able to figure it out, but for me when I was reading the series and even fics, even though there is a greater age difference, percyxnico seems healthier that willxnico? Any thoughts?
I'm very anti s*langelo lol, and while I'm not a big fan of Pernico it is healthier in terms of the set up. If they dealt with the age gap I would be more okay with it, though I do view them more as family myself.
Unfortunately, rexwalker is practically the only queer sw ship that, even with full shipping goggles on, I still cannot get any chemistry for in canon. I don't dislike it (I reblog rexwalker art!) and I have absolutely no reason not to ship it, just doesn't light my brain up with the shipping juices, which rules out obirexwalker for me.
The first chapter and the prewriting phase of Battlefield made me a definite codakin shipper and enjoying all three pairs that comprise the triad really makes the shipping-brain go brrrr. Each pairing has such delicious dynamic and I enjoy them each for such different reasons that the interplay between them as a polycule is just *chef's kiss*
There is a grand total of one fanfic that was able to sell me on rexwalker, but it was one of those situations where the author nailed the characterization so well and set them in such a fitting scenario that I would have shipped damn near anything they put forth. ripe with severed faith by Hornet394. It's actually rexanidala but, like rexwalker, an anidala fic already has to be very VERY good to get me to read it (counting this fic, there are only four anidala fics I've liked). Also made me so fuckin emotional over the decisions of a mouse droid so yaknow
There WAS another- my fandom white whale is a rexwalker fic that was taken down on both AO3 and FFN before I could read it but I was so sold on the concept that I can't fucking get it out of my head, it was a soulmate AU with raised as Sith!Anakin where he initially rejects Rex and the author synopsis was like "A clone was a soulmate for the slave boy who grew up on Tatooine, not for Lord Vader" and I was so fucking here for the slow burn. Actually if anybody knows this fic please let me know even if you don't have a copy of it just so I know I didn't hallucinate it. I think part of it was told in epistolary format and also Shmi was alive and wrote a letter to Rex?

Do you think obi-wan and anakin would have bonded closer if anakin was qui-gon's apprentice, just because first obi-wan doesnt want to abandon a 9 year old to Qui-gon's qui-gonness, and later because the council decided that it was the will of the force that Qui-gon just be mostly obi-wan's problem. Also does anakin just go rescue his mom because qui-gon didn't say "no" (he may have said "hmmm" thoughtfully sounding) and anakin doesnt end up putting obi-wan on the "perfect jedi" pedestal because he's seen the man ripping his own hair out and possibly muttering plans to lock Qui-gon and the council away for a week then see who comes out of the room?
The short answer is... no, I don't.
The slightly longer answer is that it really depends on what characterization you're going with for Qui-Gon, which in turn impacts Obi-Wan's character, and while I have seen 'Qui-Gon lives and Obi-Wan and Anakin become super close' done convincingly, it's really difficult to get to that point.
The long answer is that no matter what, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are both really bad about talking about their feelings. Neither of them likes admitting they're hurt, especially when they're afraid that the other person already knows and doesn't care. Qui-Gon is too proud to admit his mistakes first, and Obi-Wan (while a lot more willing to swallow his pride to make peace than Qui-Gon is) has to think there's a reconciliation that's possible if he wants to get to that point.
Which means that, if you want Obi-Wan to get along with Qui-Gon well enough to (a) not resent him enough to come visit and (b) not resent Anakin at least a little bit for the debacle in the council chambers, you have to stick Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon in a room together and make it so they won't argue. Like, for instance, making it so Qui-Gon got stabbed through the gut, saw his life flash before his eyes, and not only doesn't have the energy for the row that would lead to Obi-Wan stalking out and not coming back for years, but also genuinely just feels bad enough to swallow his pride.
But if, say, Obi-Wan dumps Anakin on the Council, leaves (for Duty and Selflessness and certainly not because he's still angry at Qui-Gon but he feels bad being angry at an invalid and he just feels bad being angry in general, because he should be Above It All by now), and doesn't come back for years—
And if, say, Qui-Gon wakes up, realizes Obi-Wan is gone and isn't coming back, and decides to ignore Obi-Wan's... everything and train Anakin (for Duty and Selflessness and certainly not because he's deeply, deeply hurt, so he's pulling a Qui-Gon and covering it all up with Righteous Indignation), and doesn't see Obi-Wan for years—
Then I think we have an Anakin on our hands who not only resents Obi-Wan (like in canon), but resents him for being Qui-Gon's Perfect Former Apprentice, who did EVERYTHING right that Anakin couldn't and STILL left Qui-Gon (because clearly this is a black-and-white issue where Qui-Gon was the victim and Obi-Wan was the villain, because Qui-Gon can't do any wrong, Qui-Gon rescued him, Qui-Gon is the perfect Jedi better than all the other Jedi which means he's always right and they're always wrong, etc etc).
If you are still doing the ship as Percy/Persephone XD
We focus on Hades missing Persephone a lot, but you also have Persephone without Hades for half the year. Maybe she wants a distraction, maybe she's seeking companionship, maybe she wants to get a good look at the Demigod Olympus keeps freaking out about as an adult.
They run into each other on Olympus. It's curiosity at first, but they start a conversation and maybe Persephone spins a tale about her and Hades (I do so love playing with different interpretations of that myth), and Percy maybe sees something relatable there. Maybe it's the feeling of loneliness, lack of understanding, maybe it's the feeling of being trapped by your circumstances. Whatever it is, they connect.
Percy leaves Olympus and the conversation kinda sticks with Persephone. She might not take on lovers the same way other Gods do, but she's still a Goddess and that means the obsession, possessive thread rings true. She decides Percy will be hers, whether as a lover or as the crowning jewel in her garden, she doesn't know.
Persephone shows up where Percy is - camp, apartment, dorm, class, whatever - and just kinda sticks around. Percy's getting a bit suspicious here, because what does she want, but his first thought isn't going to be Persephone wanting to take him to bed.
One night, maybe she's watching him make or eat dinner, he asks her what she wants. She leans in and says, "you."
Percy is startled, but also has the moment of oh maybe he should have seen this coming. He's not...bothered by the idea, not really. Persephone is...Persephone. She's the Goddess of Spring and typically thought of in relation to Hades, but was called Dread Persephone.
So, Percy goes for it. And afterward? Well, Persephone doesn't leave.
Talk about a summer romance, amiright
// Send me any two characters, I’ll tell you how I’d get them together
Was scrolling through Percy Jackson stuff and people are saying Luke was a pedo for "liking" Annabeth. I'm ace so don't always pick stuff up, but I never remember Luke having romantic feelings for Annabeth? She had a crush on him, I know but I saw his feelings toward her as an older brother, who was responsible for her but to "make a better world" had to be mean and then got caught up in his own nonsense...
Also the Frazel debate, I thought they were adorable but many have a problem again with an age difference?
*not related at all, any opnion on perjasico? (i like the canon ships but this one loves to pop up and go "love me!" ^_^')
Thank you for your message!
I absolutely agree with you about Luke and Annabeth. A lot of people (including Annabeth herself) did interpret Luke's final conversation with her as having romantic implications. To each their own I guess, but personally, I heavily reject that notion and the thought would never have even crossed my mind if it hadn't been put there by other people's Tumblr posts. I have previously answered an ask about it here if anyone wants to read more.
About Frazel, I am torn on that topic. Frank wasn't the most mature kid, so if he relates to a 13-year-old then I guess that's not super odd but my recollection of being 16 is that 13-year-olds felt like toddlers. Rick, however, isn't great at distinguishing ages in his writing, the 17- and 18-year-olds talk and have the same level of reflection and maturity in their inner monologue as the 12- and 13-year-olds. This is probably the reason why we as readers don't react more strongly to the age difference. I believe that the only reason Hazel is made to be so young is so that she can be a little sister to Nico, as a character growth arc to mirror Bianca's role to him. If not for that, I'm almost convinced she would have been 16 as well. I do find them sweet, but if I personally were to write them, I wouldn't have introduced the romance until they were both a bit older. Not only for the age difference reasons but also because I think Hazel needs some time to heal her trauma independently.
As for perjasico, I haven't heard of it until now to be honest so I can't really give a good opinion. It's the type of ship I think I'd enjoy headcanons about but not really actively ship.
