Basil approached the woman slowly, eyes narrowing as he tried to work her out. âAre you a visitor or a new prisoner?â He asked her, taking the seat next to her. It was lunch hour, and Basil had been wandering around on his own as usual up until now. He didnât normally see other people on their own - prisoners generally stuck together in groups.Â

A twig was held in the Doctorâs cold, bony hands, held out in front of him on display. Slowly but with clear intention, he snapped the twig, and smiled at the wood splintering.Â
âThatâs a human life. Thatâs what I could do.âÂ
He dropped both pieces of the twig, letting them fall to the ground. âAnd now theyâre useless.âÂ
âWasnât I worth a goodbye?â
ANGST STARTER SENTENCES
âYou were worth far more than that.â
Christmas starter for rosetotherescue
The Doctor had to think long and hard about a christmas gift for Rose Tyler. Â He knew what she wanted, and he knew he couldnât quite give it to her. Â She wanted children and the Doctor knew it, but due to the nature of Time Lord biology, he couldnât help her have that.
However he finally decided he would do the next best thing. Â He would give her something similar to a child, something sheâd be able to care for herself. Â He went to several shelters through out time and space, and finally picked out the perfect puppy, one he knew Rose would love.
He packaged up a sonic screwdriver and some psychic paper just for her as well, along with a few of the things she might need to take care of the puppy, and wrapped them in gift wrapping and headed out to her house, the puppy on a leash.
âMerry Christmas,â the Doctor told Rose as she opened the door.

Alex stood awkwardly outside Roseâs door.  Sometimes he wondered why this absolutely gorgeous woman would want to spend time with him.  A slightly damaged DI with his own share of baggage. Yet, he couldnât help but to be drawn to her.   He figured if she didnât want him around, she would send him away.  Oh please never let her want to send him away.
When she opened the door the ghost of the smile appeared on his face. âHey, they are having one of those Christmas Celebration things. Thought you might want to see it, with me.â
@rosetotherescue:
She had just landed, traveling through the void was getting harder and harder for her. Â She was so tired..so when she heard the voice she immediately stopped. Â âWhat?â She asked in confusion and glanced over her shoulder. Â âTime Energy you say?â Rose ran toward him and grabbed his hand. Â âRun..â
She completely ignored what he said. Well, it shouldnât have surprised him. It happened quite a lot; he was fairly used to it with Lucie, actually. But this blonde, oh, she had no idea.
âOh, believe me, I would. One touch from that and Iâm space dust. But someone handcuffed me here and took my sonic. Itâs over there.â He pointed towards a table on the other side of the room. A collection of objects surrounding the sonic. From handcuffs, to jelly babies, to a single plastic flower. The content of his pockets. A pile of junk, really. â-If youâre going to help me, hurry. If not, just hide. Iâm too important to them to be eaten - well, right now, at least. But you -- theyâd kill you without a second thought.â

   The TARDIS lands with that familiar whine, the destination    an old, familiar place; the hope... his Rose.    His port in the storm, always exactly what he needed, a    comfort in his darkest hours, a relief in his time of pain.    Maybe, he thought, they could be together just a little longer    this time. Just a little longer than however long it took for her    to pull him out of the darkness, maybe sheâd hold him a little    tighter, let him listen to her heart for another beat - or two -    touch him in the way only she knew.        He had missed her.               TERRIBLY.              He always did.    He stood at the console, waiting for those doors to creak    open, waiting for his pink and yellow girl to rush in with    that beaming smile, hug him just a little too tight (not that    he minded) and make it seem as if like heartache was all    too easy to erase.
