An instrumental rendition of ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ floated through the room as the surrounding sound system played from the list of holiday classics. The music is an undercurrent to the many distractions so shiny and bright throughout the vast area. Lights twinkled, ornaments sparkled and glowed, mistletoe hung from atop entrance ways as a reminder of what consequence awaits for those trapped beneath. And off to the center, the main attraction, stood a whopping fifteen foot tree. Not excessive in the least.
The redhead surveys the space, clad in a subtle shimmering gold dress--one in which fits quite snug--accentuating all of her assets. Her hands are occupied, carrying two drinks, one for herself and the other for Tony. It's not hard to find him.
"You don't think we overdid it, do you?" Pepper says upon approach, offering his glass. She adores the holidays, but she's been known to perhaps indulge a little too much with the decor. Still, it looks stunning and not at all tacky. "Maybe the mistletoe is a bit much?" She's not exactly fond of the Christmas greenery, only because she doesn't want to be caught under it when Tony isn't around. That leaves fair game for anyone.
"You look good by the way..." the woman smirks, now admiring his figure. "I love you in a suit."
