For some reasons I haven’t treated myself to cut flowers for quite a while, but when I saw these light yellow roses which to my surprise were fragrant and the baby’s breath at the grocery store, I knew they had to come home with me. The flowers came in two separate bunches and I tried to arrange them in a loose hand tied bouquet. I have to say, I am quite pleased how it came out. I placed the bouquet in this gray blue earthenware jug, which belonged to my belated beloved mother and is so special to me and I think it compliments the roses well. When I took this photo the next morning I got so lucky with a very soft diffuse light that gives this photo almost something magical and mysterious, an atmosphere that I almost always fail to capture, but not this time!
