Synth and bass fading in out as the sound oscillates around my skull and soft drums kick in to get some rhythm to vertigo made into sound. That feeling of looking over the edge of the cliff and feeling your whole stomach somersault and say nope. Step back from the edge. Or as this song says, no, come closer. The edge is where the fun really begins. I got a point that I’ve been trying to make, head underwater just for the sake. And everything is starting to decay. The same rhythms and rhymes trying to bring meaning to everything that has already been said before. Try to kill the thought with your rusted blade. Stop the spiral before you fall down again but the tools you using, they so outdated and out of use that you can’t even stop the spiral. It’s just to let the fall begin once again. 

Chorus kicks it and he just repeats and you know, and you know, and you know, and you know it ain’t going away. That thought living constantly in the back of your head longing for the day you finally slip, stumble and fall off that cliff just to say, I told you so. If you had anything left in your brain, you’d’ve poured everything down the drain. Harder bass, harder drums. Feel the aggression of the music stepping in to accentualise the downfall of your own thoughts. And you know, and you know, and you know, and you know it ain’t going away. Now everything you once loved fades away, and there’s a big black hole right on your ceiling. It’s not even the letting go of the past, it’s watching it all turn to sand in your hands as the only things you loved are just being replaced by the big black void of nothing that is the only companion left.
