First, the armour choice has absolutely nothing to do with being the Saint of Fresh Blood. But it is an important part of who Rolonia is.

Second, this is not a random choice. Like Hans’ catty appearance and Nashetania having an animal motif due to being part of the royal family. Rolonia also has reason for her animal motif.

For those interested in the reasons, here’s a little tid-bit from Volume 4.

‘Rolonia was born in Lindo, the country of blue wind. It was a very small country on the eastern outskirts of the continent, so small that most of her companion Heroes had no idea where it was.

A lot of the population lived their lives raising cows, and Rolonia’s parents were no exception. Rolonia was raised staring at cows as they blithely ate weeds, and she never grew tired of them. Sometimes there was a cow that tried to stray from the herd and it was Rolonia’s job to blow on a whistle and call for her father or a herding dog.

Rolonia had loved cows. If she were asked what she believed to be the most incredible thing in the entire world, she would have answered “cows” without a moment’s hesitation. Later, when her armor was being made at the Head Temple, Rolonia even went so far as to choose a cow design, even though the other Saints viewed its resemblance to the animals as a disgrace.
