there was an account that would every morning post a video of an elite from halo saying greetings.

every morning i would make a cup of tea in my custom printed mug that said "dont talk to me until ive had my [picture of an elite] greetings" and scroll twitter. and after 10-15 minutes, i would come across the bot's morning greetings post, and i knew it was time for me to get up and start my day.

you've ruined everything, elon. you stole my greetings. those mornings were so nice.

And it’s clearly meant to be her bow, not just because the packaging says so, but because she’s clearly painted all over it.

Now, I do not have a definitive answer for this, but I have a theory, and from what I know about toy design, it’s an incredibly probably theory.

Toys go into design before media is finalized. I don’t know if you watched Raya and the Last Dragon and also looked at the merch at all - and granted, I’ve only seen the movie once - but some of the toys featured something that was clearly changed for the movie: a magical crystal flower.

These toys were clearly designed before the movie came out. I don’t pay much attention to Raya concept art, but it seems to me that they conceived of the gem that Sisu put her siblings’ magic in being shaped like a flower instead of this:

There’s several crystal flower toys, I might add, not just the one above.

So anyway, where I’m going with this, is that I think they wanted Rapunzel to have a bow. I think she was supposed to have one. But at the end of the day, the lawyers wouldn’t even let Rapunzel hold a sword and swing it at a person on screen at the same time. There was no way they were going to let her have a bow.
