Method Roughly chop onions and tomato. Pound ginger garlic. Put the prawns in a bowl, add salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder and mix well. Set aside to marinate for about 5 minutes. Heat oil in a Kadai, add cumin seeds, onions and sauté till brown. Add pounded ginger and garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute. Add chopped green chilies to the pan and mix well. Add tomato and cook it for 3 minutes until it becomes soft. Add salt, chilis powder, turmeric powder. Cover the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add marinated prawns and mix well. Cover and cook till the prawns are done. Add garam masala powder and mix well. Add coriander leaves.
