Mercenaries!

Warden’s Vigil is looking to build a small mercenary company operating primarily in South Ferelden. While they will primarily take jobs from coastal Gwaren and the far reaches of Western Hill near the Frostbacks, including everything in between, the company would move as their work demands. All currently playable races and classes are welcome!

Warden’s Vigil is accepting original and canon character applications for players of all classes and backgrounds with the launch of our new website. Templars, nobles, merchants… the sky is the limit and the opportunities are endless.

On January 31, 2019 Warden’s Vigil will push its timeline to 9:39 Dragon, bringing us closer to the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition and opening up a world of role playing opportunities for our players.

TWMTW is a forum based, play-by-post RP that takes place directly after the first film. The canon of the forum ignores the series and the subsequent movies, and instead puts the story in the hands of the players. We have many canon roles open for play, including villains and characters introduced in the series and sequels...The catch? You get to decide how they're introduced, what kind of drama they cause, and how they effect Berk and the rest of the Barbaric Archipelago! Want Stoic to die before the technically would have in the second film? You can do that! Want Valka to show her face sooner? Totally cool! The story is completely up to you!

The Acere

“If you think your Rak is fussy, don’t even bother with an Ace.  They’re just as liable to melt your goods as they are protect em’.” -Traveling Cobbler

The Acere is a variety of Terror Birds that along with deadly talons and beak, spits acid onto its prey.  They are prized as the perfect Monster Hunting companion, for if well trained can seriously aid in taking down powerful creatures, and more then enjoy hunting themselves.  Raising and training an Acere (referred to colloquially as ‘Aces’), however, is a challenge that only those expert in Animal Handling can successfully accomplish, turning the will of an Aces keen predatory intelligence to work for the rider.

They are widely utilized both well trained and not by the wealthy as effective guarding mechanisms.

Though the marriage is political, the Crown strives to work for Fereldan unity, to build upon the country’s proud history and to move it forward as a rich and powerful nation.

Warden's Vigil is a Dragon Age based roleplaying community within the world of Thedas. Established in 2010, we are one of the longest running RPs for Dragon Age with a number of dedicated and longtime players in our midst.
