Listen. Agent Stone deserves to be the main character to his own movie.
Either he talks and gets married in the end with Robotnick, and they fix their (mostly robotnicks) issues and end up happy with the sonic team seeing them as their uncles. "It's little and broken, but still good. Yea, still good." - Stitch

Stone gets a happy ending, and Robotnick has to watch from afar as he realizes he ruined his only chance at true happiness. His one friend, his one chance at love, moved on. All because Robotnick refused to realize what he had. Now he'd never get Stone back, and it was all. His. Fault. Not sonics, not anyone elses, his, and his only.
