When Wolf is sad, Hoxton knows what to do.
Even before prison, Hoxton wasn’t the best at being physically affectionate (but he is learning). So giving the older man a cuddle really can help to shift a bad mood.
But there are times when cuddling alone is not enough. Hoxton still knows what to do.
He’ll trawl subreddits and YouTube for the best robot videos.
It’s a difficult balance to strike. If the robot is good, Wolf will just shrug, saying how he could make it, and how he’d make it better.
But Hoxton isn’t looking for that. He’s looking for robot fails.
Robots that have one job, robots that fail at their only job, and robots that shouldn't have been made in the first place.
The bread cutting robot fucking up, mangling a stunning loaf of artisanal bread, made Wolf cry tears of laughter. He complained (in-between peals of laughter) about how much his tummy hurt and being unable to breathe, but Hoxton just grinned because he’s been a good boyfriend.
