other headcanon i have: I imagine that she always had a huge doubt that Firepaw wasn't the cat from the prophecy, and she always had a fear that it was her (From when goosefeather told her she would blaze through the forest like a fire) and she was afraid she was too old to fulfil the prophecy and once she met Firepaw she never set foot near water and would only drink water from moss. 

Lemme tell you a lil' story.

When I was a young confused Skins in my teens and not experiencing sexual attraction to people like most of my classmates seemed to be able to conjure on the fly to random celebs in magazines, I looked up on the Aven wiki to see if I could find some answers to my connundrum. I found Demisexuality there, and thought, 'huh, well this fits me'.

so from then on I identified as demisexual and that was that.

But as the years progressed, I realised I only liked men, I just didn't want to fuck them. So technically that made me straight in that I was attracted to men but I was asexual in the sense I didn't have much of a sex drive. But when I was very emotionally attracted to someone, I did.

Can you see where I'm going with this?

I'm sure you can.

But again, how is that different from most regular relationships? Having a low or high sex drive doesn't usually dictate someone's sexuality in the sense that you can be homosexual and still have a low sex drive. It is what it is.

To me, at least, demisexuality sounds just like someone who is bi, gay or straight but just so happens to need to bond with a person before they want to screw them. And to me, this is perfectly normal behaviour.

Therefore, I do not see why a special label is required.

Believe me mate, I identified as demisexual for years, thinking that it was something different from the norm. On closer inspection, I realise it isn't. Gray A is more appropriate to me and therefore I have changed it as such.

Keep in mind that this is merely my opinion. I will not go around shouting at the rooftops that people who identify as demisexual are wrong or misguided. Sexuality is a deeply personal thing and people should be free to discover this on their own. Frankly, as long as it's not illegal, then I see no harm in it.

I also understand that labels are powerful to people and also very important to some, and not so to others. That's okay - we're all unique and we're all going to have varying opinions on these things.

Your opinion is that demisexuality is a real part of the ace spectrum. That's totes cool man.

But please respect the fact that I do not consider it as such. That's literally all it is.

I will not point it out. I will not mock people. I will not go into people's inboxes and say they are wrong. It's merely my belief and I do not expect other's to share it, alrighty?
