if Henry was in td3 he would have clocked that Ronan was Bryde immediately and then instantly snitched on him to the moderators and the series would last 1 book because Ronan would get assassinated and declan would go insane all in like 3 weeks
this is literally the only explanation i'm going to accept for henry's absence from a plot tailor made for him. because we needed to bend the rules and let ronan get away with gaslighting himself in his daddy issues. because declan needed, apparently, three books to simmer and crack and go a bit apeshit. and, evidently, society was not ready for the heclan mommy issue rivalry that would ensue. nor the realization that all we really needed was one (1) fucker who knew what he was doing. im fine im normal i dont think about henry potential in tdt and make logical leap arounds to justify him not being there like every damn day. maybe that plot was too easy. maybe im the fool. maybe i need to go touch grass.
