The thing about Tropic Thunder is Rob and Les are insane for each other and evil. But then you watch the movie and like 3/4 of the characters are either super intense or evil.

or, Les and Rob easily coming to the same evil plan without having to talk about it, featuring wordless side glances and Rob taking charge of the office as the second-in-command.

I love the final scene in Tropic Thunder where Les and Rob are celebrating their victory together and Les tells Rob what a great job he did only to follow it up with 'no a nutless monkey could do you job' before immediately letting him know he was kidding and playfully jabbing him. Like he'll say the meanest things to him as a joke because he knows they have that kind of relationship at that point. Like 'of fucking course I'm kidding I love you so much man'. It's great.
