Today, I offer up a poem to myself for 37 - and my wish is that it be a birthday/any day wish for you too. 💫 . || ᗰY ᗯIᔕᕼ || Birthdays come and birthdays go, Sown with seeds of truths unknown. Today’s truth is tomorrow’s lesson, Tomorrow’s truth - snapshot in the progression. Space that we hold, and choices we make, Gifts undiscovered, wheel of fortunes of fate. To believe that we are, “where we need to be”, Is to trust divine chaos, the hardest fight you will meet. On this day, I make this pledge, to my future self and girl of the past. I hold you both in the moment of now, Fertile soil of freedom from the pressure of “how?” I accept your “failures”, your “fuck-ups”, and “not agains”, Mistakes that you’ve made, and your limited lens. I conjure them up with the woman you’ll be, And in the simmer, boil off shame and “if only”. The steam of self-doubt released from the reduction, All that you were, towards the same direction. So know that you’re held, in every decision, There are no wrongs, just longer routes in the vision. You are truth in your every moment, Divine love reflected, it’s forgetting that torments.
