Alan Pakulaâs film version of Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodwardâs 1974 account of the Watergate scandal, All the Presidentâs Men, premiered in Washington, DC on 4 April 1976.
Robert Redford had bought the rights for a film version while Woodward and Bernstein were publishing articles in The Washington Post (and had not started work on the book). Redford also hired William Goldman to write the screenplay, and it was Goldmanâs script that allowed the film to be financed.
Since film crews could not shoot at the offices of the newspaper, a precise reconstruction of the offices were built on 2 soundstages in Burbank.
The film was a critical and commercial success and was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress (Jane Alexander) and Best Editing (Robert Wolfe). It received 4 Oscars: Best Support Actor (Jason Robards), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Art Direction (George Gaines and George Jenkins), and Best Sound (Dick Alexander, Les Fresholtz, Arthur Piantadosi, and James Webb).
@inktober Day 29 - United and OCtober Day 29 - Oldest OC. Â These four were my first ever characters I created, way back in the early '90s. They went through a revamp in the early 2000s that I more or less stuck with as the definitive version of their world. The fox in the wide brimmed hat is Alex Walker, head of the Shadowalker Foundation. A vulpine of science, he is perplexed by the fact that he's a three-tailed fox with supernatural powers. The fox with the fluffy head is Sarah Walker, Alex's wife. She serves as the Foundation's combat instructor, and loves to be the first to play with whatever new gear the science division rolls out. The bunny with the stick is Eric Light. A stubborn, short-tempered field agent who's often mistaken for a child, he begrudgingly works with Alex despite his boss' smarmy attitude and love of secrets. The puppy with the bow tie is Robert Wolfe, a child prodigy capable of tracking demonic influences better than the Foundation's instruments. Wants to someday retire and be a concert conductor.
The key is to recognize that the infinite and eternal (Absolute), being without form of its own, does not come and go; therefore, the sages say, this is the only thing which can be said to be real. All else does come and goâis insubstantial, temporary, finite; it has no enduring reality. So, allow your attention to move away from all of the named formsâthe âten thousand things,â Buddhists sayâand remain focused on the Source of the appearance of these ephemeral âthings,â the Absolute or Self. Among these things is the body-mind organism, which we think of as âmy self.â Recognize that the true, basic, essential identity of this self is the Selfâwhich it could not ever have been apart from. When the form (I/self idea) disappears, only the ever-present formless Self remains. As this understanding becomes completely clear, all the rest will fall into place. That is my experience. How to Choose the Right Concierge Physician for You and Your Family
Choosing the correct concierge physician for yourself and your family involves considering several key factors. The following outlines a few key elements.
Firstly, evaluate your healthcare needs and preferences. Assess whether you prioritize personalized care, unhurried appointments, and direct access to your doctor. Understanding your specific medical requirements can guide your selection process. Therefore, research is crucial.
Look for concierge physicians who align with your values and expectations since compatibility matters. Investigate their qualifications, experience, and specialties. Consider factors like proximity to your location, office hours, and the scope of services they offer. Reading patient reviews or seeking recommendations from trusted sources can provide valuable insights into their practice.
Communication plays a pivotal role in the patient-physician relationship. Evaluate the doctor's communication style and assess whether it resonates with your preferences. Some patients prefer doctors who are more empathetic and take time to listen, while others prioritize a straightforward and concise approach.
Assess the financial aspects. Concierge medicine typically involves an annual or monthly fee. Understand what services this fee structure covers and whether it aligns with your budget. Additionally, clarify if the practice accepts insurance or offers flexible payment options.
Consider the level of access you desire. Concierge medicine often offers enhanced accessibility to your doctor via phone, email, or even house calls. Determine the importance of immediate access and whether the physician's availability meets your expectations.
Moreover, inquire about the doctor's approach to preventive care and their stance on integrating holistic or alternative treatments if that aligns with your healthcare philosophy.
Lastly, examine the supporting staff and facilities associated with the practice. A competent and responsive support team contributes significantly to the overall quality of care.

The Wealth Empowerment Formula Process for Building Prosperity
Developed by an advisor at Apollon Wealth Management in Greenville, South Carolina, the Wealth Empowerment Formula organizes and assesses a clientâs financial picture through a systematic process involving five steps. The first step consists of having honest conversations with the client about their financial goals and priorities.
After the discussion, the advisor gathers the clientâs data, which leads to the third step: an intense goals-based analysis of the clientâs financial life. The action allows the client and the advisor to compare where the client is financially to where they would like to be.
The fourth step involves the advisor sitting down with the client to decide which areas to improve first and discuss actionable steps to meet these goals. The formula comprehensively assesses the clientâs financial picture, including debts.
To address debts, the empowerment plan asks the client questions regarding how they have protected their obligations from risk and whether they have sought counsel from an attorney, accountant, or wealth manager. The plan also addresses investment strategies, asking the client to consider the last time they reviewed their investment strategy, even scoring their portfolio.
Other areas of interest include business strategy if the client is a company. Some of the considerations the advisor relate to where the person is receiving advice regarding running the business. Also, the advisor might discuss concerns such as getting help with identifying blind spots and gaps in managing the business and establishing accountability regarding meeting responsibilities to stakeholders. Finally, the formula takes the client through finding ways to accumulate wealth, whether it means saving more money or spending less.
