“He said he didn't feel like it. And I said, "You'd better!" And he said, "Or what?" And I said, "Or you're gonna be in trouble." And he said, "Jam it."”
“That's a wonderful story, Bodie. I noticed you've stopped stuttering.”
“I've been giving myself shock treatments.”

WATCHLIST 2022: Real Genius
Michael Clayton
Michael Clayton [trailer]
A law firm brings in its "fixer" to remedy the situation after a lawyer has a breakdown while representing a chemical company that he knows is guilty in a multibillion-dollar class action suit.
Still one of Clooney's best performances. The last scene is just devastating. Clayton has done the right thing, had a brief moment of satisfaction, but then he sits in the taxi, he still feels like shit, exhausted and like the loneliest man in the world.
A well deserved Oscar for Tilda Swinton.
The tag line "the truth can be adjusted" feels more relevant than ever.
Having it also re-watched recently, I was thinking that it would make a good, albeit somewhat depressing, double bill with The International.
