I recently visited the United States and spent some time in South Carolina, among other States. I completely fell in love with the Spanish moss draped across the trees there, so I wanted to watch something that was filmed in the area and decided to revisit The Patriot.
I first watched it many years ago and enjoyed it then, but this time I found myself even more immersed in the story. I think it is a fantastic film, and I particularly enjoyed seeing the beautiful landscapes, old rchitecture, and, of course, all that Spanish moss! Sometimes revisiting a film years later gives you a fresh appreciation for it, and that was certainly the case here.
