You would think he’d learn from the past whenever he walked down the alleyway. NO matter how quick it was to get to the other side and no matter how sometimes Klaus would like to avoid the crowd (Too much people in one place really does a number on him), he should’ve just...geez, suck it up and get through it. This would be the fourth time this happened. Where he walked by himself through the dark alleys and then some guys thinking it would be fun to mess with someone who looked...well who looked like Klaus. Never mind the fact he has a sword by his side, but never withdrawn even when he was surrounded by the 3. 3 against 1. It’s always that way, isn’t it? They always FEEL the need to gang up on people. 

“I’m not looking to fight. I just want to get through.” It’s as if he’s told the funniest joke because all three of them are just LAUGHING like hyenas, really. 

“Please.” Klaus says one last time. He won’t let them strike. He won’t let them get the upper hand and even though he really doesn’t want to fight, if it’s a fight they want then it’s a fight they will get. 

“Get him. And Hold him still for me. You’re gonna be my new punching bag.” 

It really is because of what he looks like, right? Tired, lanky almost. Klaus looks like he’d fly away with the gentlest of winds, probably. Maybe that’s why he’s such an easy target. The fact he takes a step back when two of the guys approaches him just gives them more confident.

I’m so tired.

Both her septa and her ladies had been commenting on how long the summer had been so far since yesterday. Lyanna had never seen winter, but she couldn’t imagine how much colder it could get after living all her life under the Winterfell snow. She wasn’t going to complain, she preferred it that way. She hadn’t been south much, but the few times the Starks had travelled there had been torture for her. The wolves weren’t used to such heat, or the confined spaces of a full blown city. She didn’t adapt well. 

She had just come back from her usual walk to the godswoods, something she liked to do on her own, before everyone was awake. Now she was staring through one of the windows, absolutely bored, as her brother Benjen practised with his bow down in the yard. Ned wasn’t home, and neither was Brandon. They were both escorting Robert Baratheon and what would probably be a caravan of southerns ready to turn the north upside down. It was the reason why her classes had been cancelled today. You need to look presentable, mother had said while fixing the braids on her hair and cleaning up the hem of her dirt stained dress. What was even the point, though? She was already promised to the Baratheon prodigal son, and apparently there was nothing she could do about it. Presentable or not, she was going to be a wife eventually. 

The sounds of a multitude of horses approaching to the gates was unmistakable, and she quickly went outside to greet her brothers, and her betrothed. After all the common and polite pleasantries, and the talks about joy and united Houses, she found herself alone with the man in question - as all her brothers and her father retired for a ride through the woods. 

“I thought you’d join the others, sir. Even if you don’t share their prayers, it seems to me I’m not going to be much more entertaining than them.”
