I don't think it's a bad thing to romanticise reading. They're often just describing things they've come to associate with the pleasant experience of reading physical books, and it in no way lowers how much they're appreciating the actual written work. That'd be like getting mad at someone for liking the packaging their favorite food comes in. :)
uh no its not like that because theres a difference between "associating it with the pleasure of reading' and attacking people for not choosing to read physical books
