It’s Sunday so of course we cook our meat off for the week. Its too damn hot for a proper roast so this baby went in the oven at the “Crack of Doom” so the flat has a chance to cool down before the hottest part of the day. . . Half of this is going to be shaved for sandwiches during the week and sliced thin for salads and maybe to be small diced for Fried Rice during the next month. . . We buy our meat when it’s on offer and this week these beautiful shoulders were less than a tenner so we got one for now that will make at least 8 meals for 2 grown fellas and a mostly veggie female, plus sandwiches and one for the freezer for Yule. . . I think any joint that will end up being less than £1 a meal if planned correctly is a massive win. . .
