Train Ride To Beijing:
In a wild rush we all bolted to the subway to get to that Train station where our 11 hours together on a local train were to begin. Everyone was a mix of excited, frustrated, nervous and overjoyed. But none the less we had places to be so, we were all in a rush.
Once on the train we all had looked the 2 level bunk rows that we were to share. We took our places in the different bunks ang got settled in. Luckily I was in the party car. Theo, Ashley, Ariel, Sue, Kim and I shared one car; #Bolo crew. We had a variety of snacks and drinks to keep us occupied on the train. So the adventure begun.
About an hour into the ride, once we all had really settled ourselves in and figured out exactly what was to be done to pass this 11 hour ride we all broke out some brews and began to play games.
Theo came up with this crazy game that just baffled me the whole time, It was like slap, clap, snap then say a word and make a face at people. Basically thump-er but with Theo rules.
I was so out of it. I didn't even want to play at one point because everything confused the hell out of me. But whatever, after a few rounds I got the hang of it. And that game is still on big takeaway from the trip to Beijing. All the clapping and saying funny words kept the entire train awake. Muhahaha, ain't no one gonna tell us Americans what to do.
Lauren also came up with some game, it was called In the Glass Green Door. I didn't like it though because once again, I had no idea what the hell was going on. Then I figured it out, it's all about double letters and the name of the game is the hint.
Natalie and other visitors kept swinging by, and Kim braided Natalie's hair. It came out super awesome. I wish my hair could be braided, but I don't think it is long enough yet...
Whatever though, it was a cool way to pass the time in the end. After a few rounds of each game and a few more brews we all got sleepy and took our places on the bed.
Ariel has a funny picture of me and Ash sharing a bunk, with me face down on one side and her on the other. At least we were both comfy. Theo and Sue had claimed the top bunks on either side and Kim and Ariel on another bottom bunk.
Woke up Jumped out of bed and ran off that car in the morning. End of story...
